Now the corporate media is spinning Musk\u2019s nearly $43 billion offer to look like the nation\u2019s next biggest threat. <\/p>\n<p>The Washington Post is just one of the many press outlets openly wishing for Musk\u2019s deal to fail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s hope Elon Musk doesn\u2019t win his bid for Twitter,\u201d the editorial board<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/2022\/04\/17\/lets-hope-elon-musk-doesnt-win-his-bid-twitter\/?utm_campaign=wp_opinions&#038;utm_medium=social&#038;utm_source=twitter\"> wrote<\/a> on Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>The same editorial board that said asking Ketanji Brown Jackson questions about her legal rulings is worse than falsely accusing Justice Brett Kavanaugh of rape now says Musk simply wants to take over Twitter \u201cto get attention\u201d and that \u201cthe substance of his ideas for the future of Twitter are worth some wariness on their own.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-18-at-12.50.50-PM-991x1024-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-270871\" width=\"673\" height=\"695\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-18-at-12.50.50-PM-991x1024-1.png 991w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-18-at-12.50.50-PM-290x300-1.png 290w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-18-at-12.50.50-PM-768x794-1.png 768w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screen-Shot-2022-04-18-at-12.50.50-PM.png 1186w\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/qz.com\/2155098\/elon-musks-twitter-bid-isnt-about-free-speech\/\">Quartz<\/a> and The Atlantic similarly reduced the Twitter negotiations to Musk simply <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/ideas\/archive\/2022\/04\/elon-musk-buy-twitter-free-speech\/629571\/\">\u201cFighting for Attention, Not Free Speech.\u201d<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026if you think that, by taking the \u2018public square\u2019 private and consolidating control even further, Musk will somehow uphold free expression and protect democracy, you will be disappointed,\u201d Atlantic writer Ren\u00e9e DiResta wrote. <\/p>\n<p>WaPo also published an article scoffing at the idea that Musk could turn Twitter into a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2022\/04\/18\/musk-twitter-free-speech\/\">\u201cfree speech town square<\/a>\u201d just days after columnist Max Boot <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MaxBoot\/status\/1514570168730636290?s=20&#038;t=ReCJti71Y661PtG0dYZzbw\">whined<\/a> that \u201cfor democracy to survive, we need more content moderation, not less.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Outlets that didn\u2019t take a direct stand against Musk amplified comments casting doubts on the Tesla CEO and his potential attempt to remake Twitter. <\/p>\n<p>Using content moderation talking points that are eerily similar to pro-censorship congressional Democrats, NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/tech\/tech-news\/elon-musk-twitter-speech-rules-users-advertisers-rcna24613\">warned<\/a> in a story last week that \u201cElon Musk has a plan for Twitter\u201d but that \u201cIt may scare away users and advertisers.\u201d Bloomberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-04-15\/musk-s-free-speech-twitter-risks-scaring-off-advertisers\">insisted<\/a> the same thing shortly before Insider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/former-reddit-ceo-elon-musk-twitter-free-speech-viral-thread-2022-4\">amplified<\/a> a Twitter thread from former Redditt CEO Yishan Wong who said Musk is \u201cin for a world of pain\u201d if he successfully acquires the Big Tech company. <\/p>\n<p>Why are billionaire-owned media outlets suddenly mad that another billionaire businessman is trying to take a stake in the Big Tech game? Because it makes their jobs as the propaganda press harder.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, the corporate media and Big Tech are on a thought control team running interference for the left. The outlets set the narrative with biased, misleading, and fluffy coverage <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/14\/the-left-is-freaking-out-over-elon-musk-because-twitter-rigs-the-game-for-democrats\/\">of Democrats<\/a>. The media constantly tells Americans that Donald Trump worked with the Russians to steal the 2016 election, Kavanaugh is a rapist, Republicans are racists and domestic terrorists, and the summer of rage riots were <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/06\/03\/the-media-are-lying-to-you-about-everything-including-the-riots\/\">\u201cmostly peaceful.\u201d <\/a> <\/p>\n<p>The media expect you to believe all of those <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/31\/no-pointing-out-the-medias-lies-does-not-threaten-democracy\/\">lies<\/a> because they said it was so. If you question them, they smear you for spreading \u201cmisinformation.\u201d Big Tech reinforces that deliberately faulty coverage by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/04\/26\/twitter-employees-actively-engage-in-misinformation-propaganda-to-attack-florida-and-texas\/\">editorializing<\/a>\u00a0and spinning news for its \u201ctrending topic\u201d section on the site. <\/p>\n<p>For years, Silicon Valley giants have done the control regime\u2019s bidding. When the left felt threatened by Trump, conversations about Covid-19 origins and treatments, election integrity, Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop, or the truth about biological sex, Big Tech companies such as Twitter gladly banned, censored, and \u201cfact-checked\u201d any content it deemed \u201cmisinformation.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The only thing that disrupts this cycle is when the uncensored, unmanipulated truth about the media\u2019s depravity is exposed.
