And I said no because I knew who\u2019s my fanbase gonna be over there? I knew who my fans were and I knew that my Fox viewers were not going to follow me to CNN and that the CNN viewers were going to hate my guts so I decided to get out of the politics game and go do morning TV and try to do something that was more Oprahesque.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I understood switching political ships was not going to lead to success either,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I can see him [Wallace] suffering from that very problem right now.\u201d<br \/>[embedded content]\n<p>Sexton, a former CIA officer in the Counterterrorism Center, said CNN is not \u201cethical\u201d and \u201cjournalistic\u201d as Wallace has suggested, citing their coverage of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop and publishing Christopher Steele\u2019s dossier suggesting that former President Donald Trump\u2019s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn what world is Chris Wallace going to CNN because it\u2019s so ethical and journalistic? I think he\u2019s delusional,\u201d Sexton said.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly mocked CNN for it launching <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/14\/more-people-watch-paint-dry-cnn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNN+<\/a>, which currently has under 10,000 subscribers. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/12\/cnn-tank-one-month-launching\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: CNN+ Continues To Tank Just One Month After Launching)\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho is the moron at CNN who actually thought \u2018you know what we need with our ratings in the toilet?\u2019 More of us. We need more CNN. There\u2019s more appetite for these anchors who no one will watch when it\u2019s free in Primetime, and they\u2019re gonna pay extra out of their pocket to watch them cook or talk about books or interview people who are about 200-years-old.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The host argued that Wallace had one of the lowest ratings at Fox News and that CNN+ likely saw him as a \u201cfoil\u201d for his views on Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Wallace <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/27\/unsustainable-chris-wallace-left-fox-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a> working at Fox News became \u201cunsustainable\u201d in an exclusive interview with The New York Times in late March due to their framing of the January 6 riots and the 2020 election results.
