PETERSBURG, Florida \u2013 After a federal judge in Florida Monday <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Breaking911\/status\/1516110479143452676?s=20&#038;t=XYqtwGsoWQzNRV9oJDv0MA\">struck down<\/a> the CDC\u2019s national mask mandate for airplanes and other public transit, the White House says they are reviewing the decision but as for now, the TSA will no longer enforce the pandemic-era rule.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe agencies are reviewing the decision and assessing potential next steps,\u201d an official said in a statement to CBS News. \u201cIn the meantime, today\u2019s court decision means CDC\u2019s public transportation masking order is not in effect at this time. Therefore, TSA will not enforce its Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs at this time.
