Instead, inflation has only become worse and will continue to soar in 2022, Barrons <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrons.com\/articles\/fed-balance-sheet-reduction-51649446320\">reported<\/a>. Inflation has become so bad that Goldman Sachs estimated the Federal Reserve has a 35 percent chance of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-04-17\/goldman-sachs-sees-u-s-recession-odds-at-35-in-next-two-years\">triggering<\/a> a recession as a result of tightening monetary policy to cool inflation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">\u201cEleven out of 14 tightening cycles in the U.S. since World War II were followed by a recession within two years, but only eight of them can be even partially attributed to Fed tightening \u2014 and soft or \u2018softish\u2019 landings have been more common more recently,\u201d Bloomberg reported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">Biden has struggled with messaging on inflation. What was once\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" title=\"This external link will open in a new window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/the-media\/2022\/03\/09\/media-adopts-bidens-strategy-of-blaming-putin-for-gigantic-gas-prices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">called<\/a>\u00a0\u201ctransitory\u201d inflation is now \u201cPutin\u2019s price hike.\u201d Before that shift, CNN\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink x5l\" title=\"This external link will open in a new window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/12\/01\/economy\/inflation-good-bad-winners-losers\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">labeled<\/a>\u00a0 inflation \u201cgood,\u201d but the\u00a0<em>Washington Post<\/em>\u00a0noted that some\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink x5l\" title=\"This external link will open in a new window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/2022\/03\/10\/democrats-in-denial-about-inflation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reframe<\/a>\u00a0it as \u201ccorporate greed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">\u201cPutin\u2019s invasion of Ukraine has driven up gas prices and food prices all over the world,\u201d Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/12\/bidenflation-new-pandemic-biden-ripped-massive-inflation-numbers\/\">claimed<\/a> in Iowa last week. \u201cSo everything is going up. We saw it in today\u2019s inflation data.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/13\/john-kerry-pushes-green-energy-says-putin-cannot-exploit-wind-sun\/\">claim<\/a>\u00a0that inflation is only a result of Putin\u2019s actions is incorrect.
