Mellon Professor in the Humanities and the director of the Boston University Center for Antiracist Research Ibram X. Kendi took aim at white parents and \u201cWhite-supremacist ideology.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Republican Party is clearly not the party of parents,\u201d Kendi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/ideas\/archive\/2022\/04\/white-supremacy-grooming-in-republican-party\/629585\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrote<\/a>. \u201cThe Republican Party is certainly not the party of parents of color. But is the Republican Party even the party of\u00a0<em>white\u00a0<\/em>parents?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kendi claimed Republicans used four false \u201cbuilding blocks\u201d to push the \u201cmyth\u201d that the party consists of caring parents.<\/p>\n<p>The four myths Kendi claimed are \u201cRepublican politicians care about white children,\u201d \u201cAnti-racist education is harmful to white children,\u201d \u201cRepublican politicians are protecting white children by banning anti-racist education,\u201d and \u201cthe Republican Party is the party of white parents because it is protecting white children.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/13\/ohio-anti-racism-social-justice-parents-defending-education\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: School District Trains Teachers To Become \u2018Anti-Racist\u2019 \u2018Co-Conspirators\u2019 To Subvert \u2018Curriculum Rooted In Whiteness\u2019)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7411564\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7411564\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NEW YORK, NEW YORK \u2013 MARCH 10: (L-R) Ibram X. (Photo by Michael Loccisano\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Kendi then claimed white children are being \u201cindoctrinated\u201d with a \u201ctoxic blend of racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, Islamaphobic, xenophobic, and anti-Semitic ideas that is harmful to all minds.\u201d Kendi said Republicans should not be \u201cdownplaying\u201d or \u201cignoring\u201d the \u201cprincipal racial threat\u201d which is \u201cWhite-supremacist ideology.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kendi alleged white Republican <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/14\/san-diego-patrick-henry-ap-classes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">aversion<\/a> to what he calls \u201canti-racist education,\u201d \u00a0is just a dog-whistle to white parents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Republican attacks on what they call \u2018critical race theory\u2019 aren\u2019t about protecting white kids, or any kids at all,\u201d Kendi writes. \u201cThe attacks are intended to deceive, aggrieve, and mobilize enough white donors and voters to win contested elections this year and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis Republican Party is not the party of any group of parents, but the party of white supremacy,\u201d Kendi concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Parents nationwide have taken a stance against <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/06\/kristi-noem-critical-race-theory-south-dakota\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Critical Race Theory<\/a> which holds that America is fundamentally racist yet teaches people to view every social interaction and person in terms of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/11\/gop-lawmaker-shane-jett-oklahoma-social-emotional-learning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">race<\/a>.
