The shooting happened after the fight broke up when English and Jones allegedly opened fire from an SUV as they passed by.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.gettyimages.com\/photos\/police-cordon-surrounds-the-scene-of-a-house-fire-in-sycamore-lane-picture-id1127748001?k=20&#038;m=1127748001&#038;s=612x612&#038;w=0&#038;h=atgWBBOmH_5qVeQ27moKMKjHjl3siuiJ1kv_Nhxk1Dk=\" alt=\"Police cordon surrounds the scene of a house fire in Sycamore Lane, Stafford, which claimed the lives of four children yesterday, on February 06,...\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>(Christopher Furlong\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Joseph\u2019s attorney has acknowledged that his client was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting but denied that he took part or knew what was about to happen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKelvin was unarmed and was not looking for violence,\u201d Joseph\u2019s attorney Barry Sorrels said. \u201cHe found himself in a situation that escalated without his knowledge or consent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joseph is currently facing no charges.
