Villanueva also stated that Gasc\u00f3n only has conversations with people who are with the public defender\u2019s office and Black Lives Matter activists and \u201cEveryone else just doesn\u2019t exist in his world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Villanueva criticized Gasc\u00f3n\u2019s policies, host Tucker Carlson asked Villanueva if he\u2019s vocalized these criticisms to Gasc\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Villanueva responded, \u201cWell, I\u2019ve had one conversation with him, that was this first week in office, where we had an issue of mutual concern, on a \u2014 one particular case. But his predecessor, we met every three months. I met her in her office. She met me in my office. We shared concerns, exactly what you\u2019re saying, we did. With this gentleman, unless you come from the public defender\u2019s office, you are a Black Lives Matter activist, those are about the only people he\u2019s speaking to.
