Kay Ivey signed two bills into law that caught the attention of the Biden White House.<\/p>\n<p>The first bill she signed requires students to use bathrooms appropriate for their biological sex, and the second bill makes it a felony for doctors to perform \u201cgender reassignment\u201d therapy or surgery on minors.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>In her signing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/04\/08\/us\/alabama-transgender-bills\/index.html\">statement<\/a>, Ivey affirmed:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I believe very strongly that if the Good Lord made you a boy, you are a boy, and if he made you a girl, you are a girl.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>We should especially protect our children from these radical, life-altering drugs and surgeries when they are at such a vulnerable stage in life. Instead, let us all focus on helping them to properly develop into the adults God intended them to be.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The vast majority of Alabamans obviously agree. That\u2019s why the bills passed the legislature by overwhelming margins: more than 2:1 in the state house and more than 4:1 in the state senate.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20678006\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20678006\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/AP19241719888416.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1276\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Alabama Gov. For instance, a Rasmussen poll taken early last year found majority opposition to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/lifestyle\/sports\/february_2021\/54_oppose_transgender_sports_trend\">transgenderism in sports<\/a>, and another poll from December found strong support for the assertion that there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/lifestyle\/public_surveys\/most_americans_side_with_j_k_rowling_only_two_genders\">only two genders<\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>So how has the Biden administration responded?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>One might think that the president has enough to worry about\u2014Ukraine, inflation, Hunter\u2014such that he would ignore Alabama\u2019s action.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>After all, Democrats are facing a challenging political environment\u2014sample <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/04\/09\/angry-voters-biden-inflation-midterms-00024218\">headline<\/a> in <i>Politico<\/i> on April 9, \u201cA sour and angry America poised to punish Dems this fall\u201d\u2014and so maybe, for their own sake, Democrats should pull in their horns a little bit.<\/p>\n<p>But, no! The White House went the exact opposite way, charging at Alabama head on.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>On April 7, press secretary Jen Psaki <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/press-briefings\/2022\/04\/07\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-jen-psaki-april-7-2022\/\">declared<\/a> from her podium, \u201cToday\u2019s vote in Alabama will only serve to harm kids.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>And then she went further, from volunteering condemnation to threatening litigation:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Alabama\u2019s lawmakers and other legislators who are contemplating these discriminatory bills have been put on notice by the Department of Justice and the Department of Health and Human Services that laws and policies preventing care that healthcare professionals recommend for transgender minors may violate the Constitution and federal law.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Maybe the U.S. government will sue to overturn Alabama\u2019s laws, and the laws of any other American state that dares to challenge the avant-garde vision of trans-triumphalism.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>If so, that\u2019s a fight that will play well in liberal precincts, but not in most of the country.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>According to the left-wing Transgender Law Center, some <a href=\"https:\/\/transgenderlawcenter.org\/equalitymap\">23 states<\/a> have enacted new laws that trans advocates regard as \u201clow,\u201d or \u201cnegative\u201d\u2014and that number is growing; late last month, Utah <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/03\/25\/1088908741\/utah-transgender-athletes-veto-override\">banned<\/a> transgender athletes from competing against girls (overriding a <em>Republican<\/em> governor\u2019s veto, but that\u2019s a tale for another time).<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, in an exclusive to Breitbart News on the day she signed those bills, Governor Ivey <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/08\/exclusive-al-gov-ivey-responds-to-whs-psaki-threats-over-transgender-bills-we-will-not-let-out-of-state-liberals-tell-us-what-to-do\/\">fired back<\/a> at the Bidenites: \u201cAlabama will continue protecting our kids and not letting out-of-state liberals like Jen Psaki and the Biden White House tell us what to do.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yet the Biden administration has been doubling down.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0Back o<\/span>n March 30, to celebrate the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/International_Transgender_Day_of_Visibility\">International Transgender Day of Visibility<\/a>, the president himself issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2022\/03\/30\/a-proclamation-on-transgender-day-of-visibility-2022\/\">proclamation<\/a> in which he committed to advancing \u201cgender equity and equality,\u201d and to \u201cdisseminating new resources to enhance inclusion, opportunity, and safety for transgender people.\u201d For instance, thanks to this administration, \u201cAmericans will soon be able to select more inclusive gender markers on their passports.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(Note: \u201cTrans Visibility\u201d is not the same thing as \u201cTrans Awareness\u201d\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.glaad.org\/transweek\">Trans Awareness Week<\/a> is in November, and Massachusetts celebrates Trans Awareness <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masstpc.org\/trans-awareness-month\/\"><i>Month<\/i><\/a>.)<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_20677994\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20677994\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/AP22090679424426.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Transgender \u201cJeopardy!\u201d champion Amy Schneider speaks with members of the press during Transgender Day of Visibility at the Biden White House on March 31, 2022. (AP Photo\/Patrick Semansky)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>And there\u2019s more from this administration.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Xavier Becerra, Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/restoring-america\/community-family\/hhs-secretary-defends-teen-transgender-surgeries-during-dust-up-with-boebert\">pledged<\/a> on April 8: \u201cI will do everything I can to defend any American, including children . . . if they talk about gender-affirming care, I am there to protect the rights of any American.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>If we decode that language, we can see that the \u201cright\u201d to \u201cgender-affirming care\u201d means that Uncle Sam will pay for sex-change operations, including all the therapy and follow-up\u2014a process that can easily run into the six figures.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>But since Becerra\u2019s department boasts a budget of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hhs.gov\/about\/budget\/fy2023\/index.html\">$1.7 trillion<\/a>, finding the money won\u2019t be a problem.<\/p>\n<p>Also on April 8, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2022\/04\/08\/buttigieg-floridas-parental-rights-in-education-law-will-kill-kids\/\">came<\/a> to the defense of his husband, Chasten Buttigieg, who had <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Chasten\/status\/1484281974441316353?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1484281974441316353%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https:\/\/iframe.nbcnews.com\/fhj5f8N?_showcaption=trueapp=1\">tweeted<\/a> back in January that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/25\/ron-desantis-signs-bill-to-ensure-curriculum-transparency-for-parents-were-doing-education-not-indoctrination\/\">school transparency legislation<\/a>\u2013which critics have mischaracterized as \u201cdon\u2019t say gay\u201d\u2013 backed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will \u201ckill kids.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Asked about his husband\u2019s stark statement, Buttigieg said to the ladies of <i>The View<\/i>, \u201cYeah, he\u2019s right.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>For their part, Republicans say that teachers talking about sex, <i>of any kind<\/i>, to five-year-old children poses the real danger of indoctrination, recruitment, and perhaps even predation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0The current all-purpose word for such predatory\u00a0behavior, fairly put or not, is <em>grooming<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">In any case, it\u2019s not necessary or\u00a0even advantageous to use the \u201cg\u201d word all the time,\u00a0because the main goal is to expose the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2022\/04\/12\/schoolhouse-sickos-new-jersey-lesson-plan-endorses-puberty-blockers-to-fifth-graders-to-manage-teen-years\/\">actual course materials<\/a>, as Breitbart News has done, for example, in New Jersey, forcing the Garden State\u2019s Democratic Gov. For instance, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/\">Ryan Sereno<\/a>, who transitioned for a time to be a \u201cwoman,\u201d is now back to being a man. His firsthand testimony\u2013including his recalling the ease with which he got hormone reassignment pills from Planned Parenthood\u2013is more powerful than overbroad name-calling. Let the facts, as well as the witnesses, speak for themselves. After all, outright criminal behavior toward children is rare. However, weird sex education is, sadly, common. So for larger purposes of political persuasion, it\u2019s best for the right to focus on the common.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>In the meantime,\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">the\u00a0number of DeSantis-type legislative efforts\u2013defined, first and foremost, as transparency so that parents and other adults can know what children are being exposed to\u2013across the states is\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/04\/10\/1091543359\/15-states-dont-say-gay-anti-transgender-bills\">growing<\/a>. Indeed,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/morningconsult.com\/2022\/03\/16\/florida-desantis-dont-say-gay-bill-survey\/\">national polls<\/a> show a comfortable majority for DeSantis-type legislation.<\/p>\n<p>To which trans-totalist ideology responds not by carefully laying out plans for protecting children, but with a blunderbuss response:\u00a0<i>We\u2019re right, and if you disagree, you\u2019re a bad person and maybe a killer. <\/i>That sort of scorched-earth rhetoric plays well with the Mainstream Media and with woke corporations such as Disney, but it\u2019s unlikely to play well with the country.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, eyeing the upcoming midterm elections, Republicans are laying out their anti-grooming argument and sometimes taking it even further to the explosive issue of child pornography.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>On April 5, Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH), who is up for reelection this year.<\/p>\n<p>So how will this back-and-forth play out?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>We\u2019ll know in November.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Yet, in the meantime, it\u2019s worth pondering how we got here.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: larger;\">How the Democrats Transitioned<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>As Rachel Bovard <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/04\/05\/joe-bidens-reversal-on-sexual-exposure-for-kids-shows-just-how-extreme-the-democratic-party-has-become\/\">recalled<\/a> recently in <i>The Federalist<\/i>, the younger Biden was once a sensible champion of middle class values; but that was back in the 1990s, when Biden himself was in his 50s.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Since then, two things have happened.<\/p>\n<p><i>First<\/i>, Biden got old.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u2018<\/span>Nuff said.<\/p>\n<p><i>Second<\/i>, the intellectual world of the left changed, as transgenderism emerged as an ideology\u2014or, as its proponents would insist, as a <i>medical discovery<\/i>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>A look at Google\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/ngrams\/graph?content=transgender,+transvestite&#038;year_start=1800&#038;year_end=2019&#038;corpus=26&#038;smoothing=3&#038;direct_url=t1;,transgender;,c0;.t1;,transvestite;,c0\">Ngram Viewer<\/a>, which tracks the usage of words in books, illustrates this trend.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>We see that \u201ctransgender\u201d had essentially zero usage up until the 1990s. Meanwhile, the word \u201ctransvestite\u201d had been in steady use beginning in the 1950s.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s an enormous difference between the two words: <i>transgenderism<\/i> is the idea that some men are really women (and vice versa) and so need to be surgically \u201creassigned.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>By contrast, <i>transvestitism<\/i> is the reality that some people prefer donning gay apparel\u2014as is the case, for example, with drag queens.<\/p>\n<p>In progressive circles, \u201ctransgender\u201d has taken off, while \u201ctransvestite\u201d has fallen off\u2014and, in fact, is now often seen as a nasty word.<\/p>\n<p>This is the worldview of today\u2019s libertarian-libertine left, much more preoccupied with sex than anything else.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(The same Google <a href=\"https:\/\/books.google.com\/ngrams\/graph?content=transgender,+class+struggle&#038;year_start=1800&#038;year_end=2019&#038;corpus=26&#038;smoothing=3&#038;direct_url=t1;,transgender;,c0;.t1;,class%20struggle;,c0\">Ngram Viewer<\/a> shows us, for example, that while mentions of \u201ctransgender\u201d have soared in recent decades, mentions of \u201cclass struggle\u201d have plummeted. In other words, the new liberationist sexual agenda now trumps the older left economic agenda.) <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For his part, Biden has never been a thought leader of any kind. He has preferred to be in the exact middle of any group he has been in, going with the flow, embracing predominant thoughts as his own\u2014and that\u2019s a big reason why he has enjoyed such a long career. So, of course, Biden finds himself, er, <i>transitioning<\/i> on transgenderism, just as he changed on abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Mindful of the new Democratic reality, during his quest for his party\u2019s 2020 presidential nomination, candidate Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/joebiden\/status\/1221135646107955200?lang=en\">tweeted<\/a>,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u201c<\/span>Let\u2019s be clear: Transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>There is no room for compromise when it comes to basic human rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Let\u2019s be clear: Transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time. There is no room for compromise when it comes to basic human rights.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoeBiden\/status\/1221135646107955200?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 25, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Since January 20, 2021, the 46th president has been surrounded by people (he, she, they) who have kept him on a narrow (if not necessarily straight) path.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>For instance, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WhiteHouseGPC\">established<\/a> a White House Gender Policy Council, which issues reliably left-liberal position papers, calling for, just on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2022\/03\/08\/fact-sheet-biden-harris-administration-celebrates-first-anniversary-of-the-establishment-of-the-white-house-gender-policy-council\/\">March 8<\/a>, \u201cadvanced equality for transgender Americans.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For the most part, the MSM has been fully supportive of this agenda\u2014when not cheerleading for it\u2014and, yet, occasionally, peeps of concern can be heard.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>For instance, on April 5, the<i>\u00a0Washington Post<\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/education\/2022\/04\/05\/teachers-groomers-pedophiles-dont-say-gay\/\">headlined<\/a>, \u201cTeachers who mention sexuality are \u2018grooming\u2019 kids, conservatives say.\u201d The piece quoted Rick Hess, director of education policy studies at the right-leaning American Enterprise Institute, saying that conservative parents feel \u201clike we\u2019re living in a bizarre-o universe.\u201d Out of this parental concern came the fear that the left was insufficiently protective of\u2013or maybe even supportive of\u2013sexual grooming. Hence the new phrase, \u201cGroomer-gate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yet in the MSM, the progressive left usually gets the most ink.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0Therefore,\u00a0<\/span>the same <em>Post<\/em> piece also quoted Christine Soyong Harley, CEO of a group called SIECUS: Sex Ed for Social Change, who assured\u00a0readers that progressive gender education just gives students \u201cthe ability to understand difference of families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, if we take a closer look at <a href=\"https:\/\/siecus.org\">SIECUS: Sex Ed for Social Change<\/a>, we see that there\u2019s not so much of an\u00a0<em>understanding<\/em>\u00a0as outright <em>propagandizing<\/em>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>For instance, the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/siecus.org\/about-siecus\/\">about us<\/a>\u201d page tells us that:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>SIECUS advances comprehensive sexuality education as a means of building a foundation for a long-term culture shift that will positively impact all levels of society, particularly issues of gender and racial equity, sexuality, sexual and reproductive health, consent, personal safety, and autonomy. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Furthermore:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>SIECUS commits to working to dismantle the systems of power and oppression which perpetuate disparate sexual and reproductive health outcomes and incubate stigma and shame around sex and sexuality across the intersections of age, race, size, gender, gender identity and expression, class, sexual orientation, and ability.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>SIECUS is one of many similarly-minded groups that have achieved influence, and sometimes hegemony, in education and the culture.<\/p>\n<p>Swept up in that same aggressive spirit, some U.S. states have gone even further than the Biden administration.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>One <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NJ_Timothy\/status\/1512197812552974337?s=20&#038;t=_Mu2yo3m1h90EJNE3kd-NA\">tweeter<\/a> noticed recently that Chinese coronavirus tests in New York give the test-taker a variety of self-identification options, including \u201cgenderqueer.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(One presumes that \u201cgenderqueer\u201d is a valid scientific category needed for medical knowledge, and so, of course, we should <i>trust the science<\/i>.)<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20678054\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20678054\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/apply-online-for-gender.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1439\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The online passport application now includes an \u201cX\u201d gender designation for those who wish to receive a \u201cgender-neutral\u201d U.S. passport made available by decree of the Biden administration. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) inspired Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveGuest\/status\/1511739923304534021\">go off<\/a>:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>\u201c\u2019What is a woman?\u2019 didn\u2019t used to be a trick question\u2026 For all of recorded history, people have known what a woman is.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>But Judge Jackson is such a fellow traveler with the radical left that she cannot acknowledge common sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sen. It\u2019s epic <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/W2u2xZYa6E\">pic.twitter.com\/W2u2xZYa6E<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Libs of Tik Tok (@libsoftiktok) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/libsoftiktok\/status\/1511739344062750726?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 6, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Still, the left is fighting back.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0On March 31, an editorialist in the<em>\u00a0Washington Post<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/2022\/03\/31\/grooming-repugnant-gop-attack-anti-gay-anti-trans\/\">called<\/a> the grooming\u00a0accusation a \u201crepellent lie.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>On April 5, <i>New York<\/i> magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2022\/04\/why-republicans-are-smearing-everyone-as-pedophiles-now.html\">accused<\/a> anti-trans-lib Republicans of seeking to tar all Democrats with a \u201cpedophilia conspiracy theory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So the pro-traditional-family right can expect a lot more of that sort of onslaught: not just <i>conspiracy theory<\/i>, but <i>homophobe<\/i>, <i>transphobe<\/i>, <i>McCarthyite<\/i>, <i>QAnon, <\/i>anything and everything that can be heaved into the air. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">(And yes, the blazing away in defense of the trans-sex issue\u00a0should remind us of the way that the progressive left also blazes away in defense of Critical Race Theory.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">It would, in fact, be deeply unfair to accuse all\u00a0Democrats of being groomers, just as it\u2019s deeply unfair for Democrats to say that\u00a0Republican\u00a0legislation, as in the case of Florida, will \u201ckill kids.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">However, it <em>would<\/em> be fair to say that SIECUS-type sexual libertinism,\u00a0including transgenderism, has gone too far. Right now, the Democrats are in charge of the\u00a0federal government, and so they can deal with the problem if they wish to. Indeed, some states, such as very blue\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realchrisrufo\/status\/1513540281009811457\">Illinois<\/a>, have done\u00a0just that, seeking to guarantee protections for students. But instead, as we have seen, the Biden\u00a0administration is doubling down, spraying fire on Republicans, and not addressing the issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In such situations it\u2019s wise to remember a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eminentlyquotable.com\/the-flak-only-gets-heavy-when-youre-over-the-target\/\">saying from World War II<\/a>, attributed to an unknown but well-spoken U.S. bomber pilot:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><i>The flak is heaviest when you\u2019re over the target.<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On April 8, Alabama Gov.
