Meanwhile, 42 percent said they will not go, although that is five percent lower than the 47 percent who said the same last year.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p3\">However, despite the slight improvement over the last year, the percentage going is still far below pre-pandemic levels, \u201cwhen findings ranged from 46% to 59%\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/lifestyle\/holidays\/april_2017\/half_of_americans_will_celebrate_easter_in_church\"><span>over the years<\/span><\/a>,\u201d according to Rasmussen Reports:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">More Americans Will Attend Church This Easter<br \/>Thursday, April 14, 2022<\/p>\n<p>As life returns to normal following the COVID-19 pandemic, slightly more Americans expect they\u2019ll celebrate Easter Sunday in church.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Nnyr8znUli\">https:\/\/t.co\/Nnyr8znUli<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Easter2022?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Easter2022<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/MRVKJM2kis\">pic.twitter.com\/MRVKJM2kis<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rasmussen Reports (@Rasmussen_Poll) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Rasmussen_Poll\/status\/1514651206647533568?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 14, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Notably, 58 percent of Republicans said they will attend an Easter service, while a plurality of Democrats, 44 percent, said they will not. A majority of independents, 51 percent, also said they will not attend.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/lifestyle\/holidays\/more_americans_will_attend_church_this_easter\">Rasmussen Reports<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p3\">Thirty-seven percent (37%) consider Easter, the day Christians believe marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ, one of our nation\u2019s most important holidays. Sixteen percent (16%) say Easter is one of the least important holidays and 41% say it\u2019s somewhere in between.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">These findings are similar to those in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/platinum\/econ_crosstabs\/december_2021\/crosstabs_xmas_day_december_19_20_2021\/more_americans_will_attend_religious_service_this_christmas\"><span>earlier surveys<\/span><\/a>. Christmas, the holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus, remains the top holiday of the year for most Americans, followed by the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p3\">The survey, taken April 10-11, 2022, among 1,000 U.S. adults, has a +\/- 3 percent margin of error.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">It comes as Americans continue to push for pre-pandemic normalcy, as every state, currently, is without a statewide mask mandate.
