\/><\/div>\n<p class=\"subheading\">Boris Johnson is bracing for a battle with an \u2018army of politically motivated lawyers\u2019 over the government\u2019s new migrant relocation plans.<\/p>\n<p>UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned the public that his plan to toughen up Britain\u2019s asylum claims process is under threat from legal challenges, which he claims he is aiming to fight.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>According to the British Premier, an \u201carmy of politically motivated lawyers\u201d is vying to disrupt the plan to send thousands of illegal migrants to Rwanda for processing, seemingly in the hopes of making Britain less attractive to those looking to illegally cross the English Channel in small boats.<\/p>\n<p>While those within the government have sworn that the new plans are legal and that they are \u201cfully compliant\u201d with Britain\u2019s international legal obligations,\u00a0<em>The Telegraph<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/politics\/2022\/04\/14\/boris-johnson-take-politically-motivated-lawyers-oppose-rwanda\/\">reports<\/a> that Boris Johnson himself seems to expect that the new plan will end up in the courts.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, Johnson has vowed he will fight any legal challenges put before the government, and says that he will even go as far as implementing so-called \u201clegal reforms\u201d if necessary to see the plan go through.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI promise that we will do whatever it takes to deliver this new approach initially within the limits of the existing legal and constitutional frameworks,\u201d he said, adding that he as premier was \u201calso prepared to explore any and all further legal reforms which may be necessary\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf this country is seen as a soft touch for illegal migration by some of our partners, it is precisely because we have such a formidable army of politically motivated lawyers who, for years, have made it their business to thwart removals and frustrate the Government,\u201d he also said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" been frustrated by hostile lawyers and legal experts in the past, with harsher UK migration rules being regularly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/uk\/2010\/jul\/26\/deportation-fast-track-system-illegal\">ripped up<\/a> by legal challenge under Conservative Party rules since they first took office all the way back in 2010 under David Cameron.<\/p>\n<p>Things have not gotten much better since, with the government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/uk-england-kent-60062954\">losing<\/a> a high court battle in January this year over the age assessments of two migrants who arrived in Britain by lorry.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more, suspicion has been raised as to the timing of the new Rwanda relocation plan, with Britain\u2019s leftist opposition leader Keir Starmer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/politics\/2022\/04\/14\/boris-johnson-take-politically-motivated-lawyers-oppose-rwanda\/\">suggesting<\/a> that the measure is merely an attempt at distraction by an embattled Boris Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>There has been a pattern of more strident immigration announcements coinciding with Boris Johnson getting bad press cycles over the so-called \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/uk-pm-in-populist-fight-back-after-partygate-scandal\/\">Partygate<\/a>\u201d scandal which saw the PM break his own Chinese Coronavirus lockdown rules.<\/p>\n<p>The plan formed part of what was known as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2022\/01\/17\/saving-his-own-skin-boris-johnson-deploys-military-to-secure-border-in-bid-to-boost-popularity\/\">Operation Red Meat<\/a>\u201c, which saw popular policies pushed out into the public view seemingly in the hopes of saving the Johnson premiership, a plan that seems to have previously succeeded.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"western\"><em><span>Follow
