Susie Lee (D-NV) in 2020 has since rescinded its endorsement and now backs her\u00a0likely Republican challenger, April Becker.<\/p>\n<p>Public Safety Alliance of Nevada (PSAN), a law enforcement group\u00a0representing nearly 100 law enforcement organizations and 10,000 officers throughout the state, backed the Democrats in the last election cycle. But\u00a0even though Lee is running for reelection, the group has\u00a0now chosen to\u00a0endorse Becker.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The group has <a href=\"https:\/\/thenevadaglobe.com\/articles\/shocker-nevada-law-enforcement-rescinds-susie-lee-endorsement-endorses-april-becker\/\">reportedly<\/a>\u00a0rescinded endorsements for Democrats in the past, but since the riots across the country following the death of George Floyd, PSAN and other\u00a0law enforcement groups have been fighting the\u00a0Democrats\u2019 anti-police rhetoric in full force.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The Nevada Globe noted that in 2020, the group took back the endorsement given to\u00a0Becker\u2019s 2020 opponent for the state Senate, though the Republican lost by only\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">631 votes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a letter from the group\u2019s\u00a0representative, John Abel said on behalf of the group, \u201cWe are pleased to announce our endorsement of your 2022 campaign for Representative in Congress, District 3.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI proudly stand with our men and women in law enforcement and am honored to be endorsed by such a well-respected organization,\u201d Becker said in response to receiving the endorsement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Congress, I will always back the blue and fight to keep our communities safe by supporting our peace officers and their families, the Republican added.<\/p>\n<p>Nationwide, as the midterm election gets closer and the Republicans gain more momentum in the polls, Democrats have started to back away from the anti-police rhetoric they once stood by.<\/p>\n<p><i>Jacob Bliss is a reporter for Breitbart News.
