This isn\u2019t some Colin Kaepernick-coincidence that they took advantage of. This has been a plot and a strategy for nearly 30 years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhen Disney got a hold of ESPN, the worldwide leader in sports, the goal was to Disney-fy ESPN and the sports world, and to feminize ESPN and the sports world,\u201d Whitlock continued. \u201cAnd that\u2019s what\u2019s gone on the last 25, 26 years. The sports world and ESPN have been feminized. They do it through their little key catchphrase, \u2018diversity, inclusion, and equity.\u2019 They call it diversity, equity, and inclusion, I call it diversity, inclusion, and equity. Cause it\u2019s D \u2013 I \u2013 E. It\u2019s the death of men. It\u2019s the assassination of men. That\u2019s what Disney and ESPN are about. Whitlock claims that after Disney took over ESPN, the \u201cbest man for the job\u201d mentality went out the window, and diversity, inclusion, and equity became the focus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhen I entered the workforce and entered the real world, I was built for the real world because I could play,\u201d Whitlock <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/9LFfDCETU7k\">said<\/a>. \u201cI was going to put in the practice time and the work to learn how to play the journalism game at the highest level. The only thing that separated me from success in the journalism field was my willingness to work hard. And I was willing to work hard. So, I became successful.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cOnce Disney takes over the worldwide leader in sports, and starts imposing it\u2019s culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity, being qualified \u2014 whether you can play or not \u2014 in the field of journalism and broadcasting, it did not matter,\u201d Whitlock continued. \u201cOh, \u2018let\u2019s give Scoop Jackson a writing job even though he writes at a third-grade level. Let\u2019s throw him out there as an ESPN columnist because that\u2019s diverse.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The episode caught the attention of Never-Trumper Joe Walsh, who attacked Whitlock on Twitter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cDisney is \u2018the assassination of men,\u2019\u201d Walsh wrote on Twitter. \u201cI remember saying s*** like that to get my right wing audience outraged. I\u2019m glad I don\u2019t do that anymore.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Disney is \u201cthe assassination of men.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>I remember saying shit like that to get my right wing audience outraged. I\u2019m trying to wake up men, particularly black men, to what\u2019s happening to us and our dereliction of duty.
