Being a parent is the ultimate journey.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d star\u2019s post included a video featuring one of the couple\u2019s children laughing, smiling, and giggling.<\/p>\n<p>In the background we can hear what sounds like the actor\u2019s voice asking the child \u201cwho that?\u201d as the child looks at the screen.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/tv\/CcVKfYmuK4W\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>Reading through the comments is a message from the youngest of the Baldwin brothers, actor Billy Baldwin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe smiles, giggles, joy\u2026[heart emoji],\u201d the \u201cBackdraft\u201d star wrote.<\/p>\n<p>As previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/alec-baldwin-and-hilaria-announce-their-7th-baby-is-on-the-way\">reported<\/a> by The Daily Wire, Alec and his wife announced in March that the two were expecting their seventh child together:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cAfter many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting and huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall,\u201d Hilaria, 38, posted to Instagram Tuesday. \u201cWe were pretty sure our family was complete, and we\u2019re beyond happy with this surprise.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The accompanying video featured the couple\u2019s other children hearing the news.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m sharing with you the moment we told the kids\u2014as you can see, they are super excited! Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times. I\u2019ve missed you during my break from social media\u2026I\u2019m back and looking forward to continuing with you this wild journey that we call \u2018life.\u2019 Our love to you and your loved ones.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Baldwin also confirmed the news that the two were expecting with a video showing one of his kids eating in a high chair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look at the spaghetti sauce carefully, it says \u2018I\u2019m getting another sibling,\u2019\u201d he captioned the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CbsoC0RJSZo\/\">post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cBeetlejuice\u201d star and Hilaria share\u00a0daughters Mar\u00eda Luc\u00eda Victoria, 1; Carmen Gabriela, 8; and sons Rafael Thomas, 6; Leonardo \u00c1ngel Charles, 5; Romeo Alejandro David, 3; and Eduardo \u201cEdu\u201d Pao Lucas, 1.<\/p>\n<p>Alec also has a 26-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from his previous marriage to actress Kim Basinger.<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin and Hilaria tied the knot in 2012. In 2019, the actor\u2019s wife suffered two miscarriages. She shared the heartbreaking news in 2021 in a post on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CS5CS3wHSel\/\">social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I lost my babies in 2019, I will always remember thinking my tears would never stop,\u201d Hilaria wrote. \u201cI will always be sad, they still flow from time to time, and I hold this sadness written permanently in the pages of my life\u2019s book. I also welcome and rejoice in my two rainbow babies, feeling that I am such a lucky mama.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe open and heal out loud not only for ourselves, but to let our sisters know that they are not alone,\u201d she added. \u201cMy mantra was: I\u2019m not ok, but I want to be ok.
