\/><\/div>\n<p class=\"subheading\">A Judge in the UK has reported being \u2018inspired\u2019 by a number of climate crazy protesters, who he found guilty of having broken the law.<\/p>\n<p>A judge sitting in an English district court has said that he was \u201cinspired\u201d by a number of climate crazy protesters he found guilty of having committed crimes, saying that he will now change his daily lifestyle as a result.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Stephen Leake, who was sitting in\u00a0Crawley Magistrates\u2019 Court at the time he made the comments, handed down a number of three-figure fines to protesters who pled guilty to participating in the so-called \u201cInsulate Britain\u201d protests, which saw major disruption on British roadways as a result of protesters actively trying to block traffic.<\/p>\n<p>However, despite the nature of the criminal offences committed by some of the activists \u2014 which included one instance where a protester blocked an ambulance carrying a patient who \u201curgently needed to be transported\u201d\u2013 the court official said that the activists had \u201cinspired\u201d him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have inspired me and personally I intend to do what I can to reduce my own impact on the planet, so to that extent your voices are certainly heard,\u201d the BBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/uk-england-kent-61085689\">reports<\/a>\u00a0Leake as saying in what appears to be his Pauline moment.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>However, the judge made clear that he still intended to lay down the law, citing the fact that he swore to do so before taking up his position.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are difficult cases for us judges because we have to apply the law and that is what we have sworn our judicial oaths to do,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbnews.uk\/news\/insulate-britain-protesters-praised-by-judge-for-inspiring-him-after-fining-them\/270478\">said<\/a>, handing out fines of up to \u00a3400.<\/p>\n<blockquote result of ongoing climate protests, which have seen eco-warriors blockade British oil depots.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Climate fanatic groups Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil claim to be behind the disruption, with a proposed expansion of UK fossil fuel projects seemingly behind the sudden spike in disruption at the hand of climate activists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need a meaningful statement that we will have no new fossil fuel projects,\u201d said one protester who held up one of the largest oil terminals in the UK for nearly 40 hours. \u201cIt\u2019s that simple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Things have gotten so bad in England that even the country\u2019s leftist Labour Party has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/12\/30\/insulate-britain-road-blockades-cost-taxpayer-4-3-million-in-policing\/\">demanded<\/a> that action be taken against the protesters in order to restore petrol and diesel supplies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe government must stop standing idly by and immediately impose injunctions to put an end to this disruption,\u201d said party leader Keir Starmer regarding the protests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the Conservatives\u2019 watch, drivers are being hammered by rising petrol prices and now millions of motorists can\u2019t access fuel,\u201d he
