Meanwhile, Biden holds a 54% of Hispanic disapproval rating, while 59% of white and 25% of black respondents said they disapprove.<\/p>\n<p>A staggering 41% of Hispanic voters said they \u201cstrongly disapprove\u201d of the president\u2019s job handling, while only 12% of respondents said they \u201cstrongly approve.\u201d Nearly a quarter of Hispanic voters, 20%, remained neutral.<\/p>\n<p>The poll surveyed 1,412 adults between April 7-11 with a 2.6 margin of error. Sampling was conducted by calling respondents\u2019 landline and cell phone numbers.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8<\/p>\n<p>The latest Quinnipiac poll finds Joe Biden with a 26% approval rating among Hispanics \u2014 lower than his rating among whites.<\/p>\n<p>Even if you think it\u2019s off 10 points, it is a nightmare scenario for Democrats. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/RdoYxSKNUz\">pic.twitter.com\/RdoYxSKNUz<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Giancarlo Sopo (@GiancarloSopo) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GiancarloSopo\/status\/1514343014042415111?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 13, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Giancarlo Sopo, a Republican media strategist who led former President Donald Trump\u2019s national Hispanic advertising in 2020, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GiancarloSopo\/status\/1514343014042415111?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a> Wednesday that even if the poll is \u201coff 10 points\u201d it\u2019s \u201ca nightmare scenario\u201d for the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA bad economy and being out of touch on cultural issues would hurt Democrats with any group, but it\u2019s especially dangerous for them with Hispanics. Inflation disproportionately impacts Latinos because our communities are mostly working class. Meanwhile, the Democrats\u2019 victimhood-peddling to minorities and radical stances on cultural issues really alienates Latinos. Our communities tend to be traditional, more preoccupied with getting ahead than political correctness, and we don\u2019t view ourselves as victims in this country,\u201d Sopo told the Daily Caller.<\/p>\n<p>A December Wall Street Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/hispanic-voters-now-evenly-split-between-parties-wsj-poll-finds-11638972769\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">poll<\/a> found that Hispanic voters were evenly split in their support for Democrats and Republicans, with 43% saying they would support Trump and 44% for Biden in a hypothetical 2024 presidential election. Many voters cited the economy as reasoning for their partisan shift, as an overwhelming majority said the nation is moving in the wrong economic direction.<\/p>\n<p>A March 25 Axios-Ipsos <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/25\/poll-hispanic-latino-voters-democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">poll<\/a> also found that inflation and supply chain issues are among top concerns for Hispanic voters and are causing them to turn on the Biden administration in large numbers. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/24\/latinos-sabato-crystal-ball-gop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Are Latinos Really Abandoning Dems? Poll Analysis Gives New Insight)\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Slightly below a third of Hispanics, 30%, approve of Biden\u2019s handling of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, while nearly half disapprove, according to the Quinnipiac poll. Hispanics also are the most critical of the Biden administration\u2019s sanctions on Russia, with only 8% saying they will be \u201cvery effective\u201d in pressuring Russia to end the war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>However, 43% of respondents predict they will be \u201csomewhat effective\u201d and 24% are evenly split in saying they will be too effective or effective at all.<\/p>\n<p>All three demographics represented in the poll\u201477% white, and 71% black and Hispanic\u2014said they overwhelmingly believe the U.S. has a moral responsibility to help Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Hispanic <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/08\/wsj-poll-democrat-republican-hispanic-voters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">voters<\/a> shifted their support for Trump by an 8-point margin in comparison to 2016, a Catalist study found. The former president achieved victory in Florida after gaining increased support among the state\u2019s black and Hispanic communities.<\/p>\n<p>Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/13\/trump-hispanics-leaving-democratic-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">touted<\/a> his role in Hispanics\u2019 departure from the Democratic Party during his first presidential run, citing their desire for border security and their \u201cgreat energy\u201d during a Wednesday interview with Sirius XM\u2019s Americano Media.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did great with the Hispanics. And you know why? Because they\u2019re very incredible people with great energy, and they\u2019re very entrepreneurial. And they also understood the border,\u201d he continued, according to the outlet. \u201cThey understand the border better than anybody else.
