The chickens were reportedly infected after a bird flu outbreak.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It was an animal rights protester <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/4XQWB195mK\">https:\/\/t.co\/4XQWB195mK<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0RwAxNdgy7\">pic.twitter.com\/0RwAxNdgy7<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Direct Action Everywhere (@DxEverywhere) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DxEverywhere\/status\/1514076517076135938?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 13, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>The Timberwolves went on to beat the Clippers 109-104, securing the seven-seed in the Western Conference and Minnesota\u2019s first playoff appearance since 2018.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Minnesota was led by Anthony Edwards \u2014 30 points on 5-11 shooting from three \u2014 and D\u2019Angelo Russell, who added 29 points and six assists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI took what the game gave me. That\u2019s what they gave me. They were scared to guard me, and I took advantage of that,\u201d Edwards <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/sports\/anthony-edwards-dangelo-russell-wolves-past-clippers-play-in\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Former Clipper Patrick Beverley, who had seven points and 11 rebounds on the night, was instrumental in getting the Timberwolves into the postseason.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cTake they a** home,\u201d Beverley <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/story\/_\/id\/33728356\/emotional-patrick-beverley-leads-celebration-minnesota-timberwolves-beat-la-clippers-advance-playoffs\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span> of what he told his old teammates at the end. \u201cLong flight to L.A. Take they a** home. It\u2019s deeper than that for me. I gave my blood and sweat and tears to that organization. You guys know the story.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cBlood, sweat and tears, to just be written off like that, \u2018He\u2019s injury-prone. He\u2019s old.\u2019 This, this, that, that,\u201d Beverley continued. \u201cTo be able to come here and play them in a play-in and beat they a**, no other feeling, man. No other feeling.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Minnesota will play the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs.
