Throughout the entire pandemic, we\u2019ve wanted to make decisions based on the evidence and science. And that is what I expect we\u2019ll do again this week,\u201d he claimed.<\/p>\n<div class=\"recommended-intersection-ref\">\n<p>It remains entirely unclear how the decision to keep Americans masked up on federal transportation is based on science, as studies continue to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/24\/study-surgical-and-cloth-masks-filter-roughly-10-efficient-at-blocking-aerosols\/\">show<\/a>\u00a0basic drugstore masks are not effective at blocking aerosols.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"recommended-intersection-ref\">\n<div id=\"attachment_20629550\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1000-1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20629550 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1000-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Ashish Jha\" width=\"1000\" height=\"688\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Ashish Jha said any mask mandate decision will be based on \u201cevidence\u201d and \u201cscience.\u201d (AP Photo\/Elise Amendola, File)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"recommended-intersection-ref\">\n<p>\u201cLoosely woven cloth products provide the least protection, layered finely woven products offer more protection, well-fitting disposable surgical masks and KN95s offer even more protection, and well- fitting NIOSH-approved respirators (including N95s) offer the highest level of protection,\u201d the CDC admitted.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention that Dr. Anthony Fauci, who once <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/16\/anthony-fauci-dismissed-masks-2019-paranoid-tool\/\">dismissed<\/a> masks as a \u201cparanoid\u201d tool, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/health\/2021\/06\/02\/report-anthony-fauci-said-released-emails-drug-store-masks-not-really-effective\/\">admitted<\/a> in an email at the start of the pandemic that drugstore masks are \u201cnot really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through the material.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"recommended-intersection-ref\">\n<div class=\"recommended-intersection-ref\">\n<p>The federal mask requirement is currently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/health\/2022\/03\/10\/tsa-extending-mask-mandate-for-public-transportation-until-april-18\/\">set<\/a> to expire on April 18, although it has been extended time and time again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Joe Biden on mask mandate orders: &#8220;It\u2019s about patriotism.
