Sixty-six percent of Republicans called it a \u201cproblem, but manageable,\u201d compared to 81% of Democrats. Overall, 73% of those polled said it was a \u201cproblem, but manageable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, 31% of Republicans said it was \u201cnot a problem at all\u201d while just three percent of Democrats said the same, according to the poll.<\/p>\n<p>The poll was conducted amongst 1,043 adults between April 8-11 with a margin of error of +\/- 3.4 percentage points.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately half of those polled support mask requirements in school, a slight decrease from an earlier Axios\/Ipsos poll that found seven in 10 supported school mask requirements.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7408335\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7408335\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA \u2013 APRIL 06: Vials of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine sit on a table at a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on April 06, 2022 in San Rafael, California. (Photo by Justin Sullivan\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Thirty-seven percent of those polled also said they\u2019ve resumed their pre-COVID-19 activities, according to the poll. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/06\/fda-covid-19-coronavirus-second-booster-authorized-pfizer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: The FDA\u2019s Own Experts Have No Idea Why It Approved Another COVID Booster Dose)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople aren\u2019t following the COVID case numbers on a daily basis,\u201d Ipsos pollster and senior Vice President Chris Jackson said. \u201cPeople see coverage and \u2026 assume the trend line is continuing even if it doesn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Restrictions and mandates are largely being lifted nationwide, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/02\/25\/cdc-mask-guidance-mandates-covid-19-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">relaxing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/25\/covid-19-coronavirus-kids-mask-school-mandate-poll-harvard-politico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mask<\/a>\u00a0guidance as well.<\/p>\n<p>Other states that took a more eased approach to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/02\/covid-19-coronavirus-misinformation-risk-poll-media-pandemic-panic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">restrictions<\/a> since the onset of the pandemic, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/11\/unleash-prosperity-study-blue-states-covid-utah\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fared better<\/a> than states that implemented tough <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/01\/lockdown-zero-covid-coronavirus-china-south-korea-new-zealand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lockdowns<\/a>, according to a new <a href=\"https:\/\/committeetounleashprosperity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Which-States-Handled-the-Covid-Pandemic-Best.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">study<\/a> by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity. When ranked in terms of handling mortality, economy and schooling during the pandemic, Democratic-led states like New Jersey, New York and California ranked the worst.
