I haven\u2019t given a lot of attention yet,\u201d he said following his recent support for Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first Black woman to be elevated to the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p>As Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/08\/joe-biden-gushes-mitt-romney-flip-flop-support-ketanji-brown-jackson\/\">reported<\/a>, Romney won gushing praise from President Joe Biden for standing with him behind Jackson\u2019s confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>Romney voted to confirm Jackson to the Supreme Court, despite voting\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.senate.gov\/legislative\/LIS\/roll_call_votes\/vote1171\/vote_117_1_00231.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">against<\/a>\u00a0her nomination in 2021 to\u00a0become a circuit judge for the District of Columbia Circuit. Romney has not\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/05\/mitt-romney-silent-on-flip-flopping-in-favor-of-ketanji-brown-jackson\/\">explained<\/a>\u00a0why he flip-flopped on his decision.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_20572382\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/04\/Mitt-Romney-and-Ketanji-Brown-Jackson.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>U.S. Sen. (Win McNamee\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>As to the future, Romney, 75, clearly hasn\u2019t spent much energy on fundraising.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Hill, his Senate campaign account reported $473,000 in cash on hand at the end of 2021 \u2014 only $215,000 more than what he reported after taking his Senate seat in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The slim financial numbers come as a challenge from Republican state Attorney General Sean Reyes, who supported Trump\u2019s efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election, may appear to be on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p>Former Rep.
