But joy also provides opportunities to explore the possibilities beyond the limits of our daily lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Black Lives Matter, which is under scrutiny over the misuse of donation funds, said the 6,500-square-foot mansion will be used for fellows who wish to learn how to be joyful during the \u201cchallenges of the modern world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCreating opportunities for joyful expression is increasingly necessary but often few and far between,\u201d the organization claimed. \u201cThe Black Lives Matter Global Network seeks to change that with a new creative fellowship program.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is unknown why Black Lives Matter believes the $6 million California mansion is suited for the fellowship rather than a less convenient location\u00a0with a\u00a0glamorous cost. But the organization claims the house will operate as a living space for those seeking joy and and \u201ccommunal space for collaboration,\u201d which includes a garden space for artists who wish to utilize it for dreaming, meditating, and building joy.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">There have been a lot of questions surrounding recent reports about the purchase of Creator\u2019s House in California. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PcXeHIIF1M\">https:\/\/t.co\/PcXeHIIF1M<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Black Lives Matter (@Blklivesmatter) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Blklivesmatter\/status\/1513505879198355456?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 11, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBlack Lives Matter recognizes the power of arts and culture to dismantle white supremacy and bring us closer to achieving full liberation not just here in America, but across the globe also,\u201d\u00a0Black Lives Matter stated to NewsOne.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/04\/11\/report-marxist-black-lives-matter-co-founder-buys-four-homes\/\">reported<\/a> that\u00a0Patrisse Khan-Cullors, one of the co-founders of the Black Lives Matter movement,\u00a0bought four homes over the past several years.<\/p>\n<p>The lavish spending has encouraged some activists to question how Black Lives Matter is spending their massive pool of donations from the unrest in 2020. Cullors claims she has never taken a salary from the donations but\u00a0has\u00a0not\u00a0stated whether\u00a0she has received any compensation from the organization by way of gifts, expense reimbursements, or stipends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOrganizers should get paid for the work that they do.
