Thomas Massie (R-KY) is pushing back against President Biden\u2019s controls on so-called \u201cghost guns\u201d by tweeting that Biden\u2019s executive action runs counter to Americans\u2019 ability to build their own guns for 200+ years.<\/p>\n<p>Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/11\/biden-doj-classifying-gun-parts-firearms-effort-ban-ghost-guns\/\">reported<\/a> that Biden\u2019s Department of Justice (DOJ) is classifying 80-percent gun kits as firearms and requiring a background check for the purchase of those gun kits. The DOJ\u2019s move is part of Biden\u2019s attempt to crack down on so-called \u201cghost guns.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Massie is warning that the actions being taken against so-called \u201cghost guns\u201d not only go against American history, but are also evidence of Biden making law instead of Congress doing so.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Massie <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepThomasMassie\/status\/1513312153687711751?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1513312153687711751%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.foxnews.com%2Fpolitics%2Fmassie-slams-slam-bidens-anticipated-rule-on-ghost-guns\">tweeted<\/a>: \u201cThe Constitution does not authorize the federal government to prevent you from making your own firearm. This a fact that has been recognized for 200+ years.
