The bombing occurred on March 16 despite large letters reportedly spelling out the word \u201cchildren\u201d on the ground outside, in Russian, so as to be visible from the air.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Lyudmyla Denisova], the Ukrainian Parliament\u2019s human rights commissioner, said more than 1,300 people had been sheltering in the building,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/russia-ukraine-zelenskyy-kyiv-europe-moscow-b56759e5d40db18e94bef8e42db23e47\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to<\/a> the AP.<\/p>\n<p>The information comes as President Joe Biden held a video meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday to discuss the nation\u2019s stance against Russia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have also emphasized the importance of the security of civilians in Ukraine and the unhindered supply of humanitarian assistance to them,\u201d Modi <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/International\/live-updates\/russia-ukraine\/?id=83931446\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> during the meeting, according to translators.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have sent medicines and other relief material to Ukraine and to its neighboring countries. And on Ukraine\u2019s request, we will be sending them another consignment of medicines very soon,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>The news also follows an unannounced visit over the weekend by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Kyiv, Ukraine. Johnson walked through the capital city\u2019s streets with Zelensky and discussed what western nations could do to continue to provide aid. The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/slava-ukraini-boris-johnson-makes-unannounced-visit-to-kyiv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Johnson\u2019s arrival came just days after Ukrainian defense forces were able to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/ukraine-reportedly-wrests-back-control-of-kyiv-region\/\">push Russian occupation troops out<\/a>\u00a0of Kyiv and the surrounding areas.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The visiting British leader tweeted a video of the two walking through the empty capital city of Kyiv, surrounded by armed Ukrainian defense forces, along with the following caption: \u201cThe Ukrainians have the courage of a lion.
