According to Fox 29 Philadelphia, the city is still in the lowest \u201cAll Clear\u201d tier, which is as follows: \u201cNo vaccine requirement for places that serve food or drink; No mask requirement (except in schools, healthcare institutions, congregate settings, and on public transportation).\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>According to the data, daily cases are under 100 in the city. However, Philadelphia County as a whole\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2021\/us\/philadelphia-pennsylvania-covid-cases.html\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a> a daily average of 149 cases as of April 10, reflecting an 86 percent jump in cases over the last 14 days.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we see more cases of COVID-19 in the city, everyone\u2019s risk goes up,\u201d Health Commissioner Dr. Cheryl Bettigole <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox29.com\/news\/philadelphia-mask-mandate-health-officials-set-to-decide-on-possible-return-of-indoor-mask-requirement\"><span>said<\/span><\/a>, adding that it means that \u201cnow is the time to start taking precautions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If cases increase, the city could move into the \u201cMask Precautions\u201d tier, which requires masks indoors, but no vaccine requirements.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The possibility <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phila.gov\/2022-03-02-all-clear-philadelphia-drops-mask-mandate\/#:~:text=City%20buildings%20will%20require%20masks,while%20indoors%20and%20around%20others.\"><span>comes<\/span><\/a> just over a month after the city entered into the \u201cAll Clear\u201d tier, relieving residents and visitors of both indoor mask mandates and vaccines requirements. City buildings dropped their mask mandate on March 7, making masks optional.
