Two Rhimes\u2019 shows, <em>Bridgerton <\/em>and <em>Inventing Anna<\/em>\u00a0have racked up a total of 188 million and 129 million hours, respectively. The closest Murphy has come is his limited series <em>Hollywood,<\/em> which fizzled out with just 14 million hours viewed. Something called <em>Halston<\/em> crashed and burned with just 3.5 million total hours viewed. <em>The Prom<\/em> and <em>The<\/em> <em>Boys in the Band<\/em> were so unpopular that they didn\u2019t even rank.<\/p>\n<p>Per each dollar spent on their respective deals, Rhimes is delivering 3.17 hours per buck, while Murphy is crashing and burning with 0.06.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20595125\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/04\/MV5BMjUyN2U3YjgtZmFjZC00MzBlLWFkZDItZWQxM2QwMDdjNDMyXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyODE5NzE3OTE@._V1_FMjpg_UX1000_.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Netflix<\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>The closest Murphy had to a Netflix hit was <em>Ratched<\/em>, a series about the origins of Oscar-winner Louise Fletcher\u2019s character in <em>One Flew Over the Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em> (1975). That series earned 56.6 million hours but was not part of Murphy\u2019s Netflix deal. Another Murphy show, <em>The Politician<\/em>, that streamed on Netflix and came from elsewhere, couldn\u2019t attract enough eyeballs to rank. Two Murphy documentaries, <em>Pray Away<\/em> and <em>A Secret Love\u00a0<\/em>suffered the same fate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly,\u201d the study\u2019s author\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/theankler.com\/p\/shonda-v-ryan-whos-winning-at-netflix?s=r\">concludes<\/a>, \u201c<em>Ratched<\/em>\u00a0did fine, but didn\u2019t come close to\u00a0<em>Bridgerton<\/em>. Meanwhile, you can see that when it comes to \u2018hit rate\u2019, Shonda is two for two, whereas Ryan is one for eight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To give you an idea of just how big a failure these Murphy shows have been, more people are watching movies over\u00a0a decade old. <em>Shrek<\/em> earned 3.7 million viewing hours. <em>Shrek 2<\/em> grabbed 6.9 million; <em>Battleship\u00a0<\/em>got 3.3 million. Then there\u2019s <em>Elf <\/em>with13 million; <em>How the Grinch Stole Christmas.<\/em> 7.6 million; and on and an on\u2026<\/p>\n<p>So let\u2019s look at Murphy\u2019s seven abysmal failures and see if we can\u2019t diagnose the problem\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hollywood_(miniseries)\">Hollywood i<\/a><\/em>s a miniseries that takes viewers to a retconned Golden Age of Tinseltown that is super-woke about race and homosexuality.<\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/A_Secret_Love\">A Secret Love<\/a><\/em> is a documentary about lesbian baseball players.<\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Halston_(miniseries)\">Halston<\/a><\/em> is a miniseries about a gay interior designer.<\/li>\n<li><em>The Politician<\/em> is a series with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeednews.com\/article\/michaelblackmon\/politician-netflix-ryan-murphy-gay-lbgtq-queer\">this shit<\/a> in it.<\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pray_Away\">Pray Away<\/a><\/em> is a documentary about survivors of gay conversion therapy.<\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Prom_(film)\">The Prom<\/a><\/em> is a movie about lesbians going to a high school prom.<\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Boys_in_the_Band_(2020_film)\">The Boys in the Band<\/a><\/em> is a remake of a bad film about gay guys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anyone picking up a pattern here?<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Anyone?<\/p>\n<p>Nobody wants to watch this shit.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><strong><em>Watch below:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>It\u2019s boring.
