Prosecutors said Jackson and two other alleged gang members had driven around looking for expensive French bulldogs to steal, then spotted, tailed and robbed Ryan Fischer as he walked Lady Gaga\u2019s dogs near Sunset Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>During a violent struggle, Fischer was hit, choked and then shot in an attack captured by the doorbell camera of a nearby home.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/tv\/CLdJSsrpxgD\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The camera recorded the dog walker screaming \u201cOh, my God! I\u2019ve been shot!\u201d and \u201cHelp me!\u201d and \u201cI\u2019m bleeding out from my chest!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fischer lost part of a lung.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile I\u2019m deeply concerned at the events that led to his release, I\u2019m confident law enforcement will rectify the error,\u201d Fischer said in a statement obtained by <a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/abc7.com\/lady-gaga-dog-walker-shooting-suspect-released-from-jail-lasd-mistake\/11727349\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">KABC-TV<\/a>. \u201cI ask for Mr. Jackson to turn himself over to the authorities, so resolution to the crime committed against me runs its course, whatever the courts determine that outcome to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pop star\u2019s dogs were returned two days later by a woman who claimed she had found them tied to a pole and asked about Lady Gaga\u2019s offer of a $500,000 reward if the dogs were returned \u201cno questions asked.\u201d The singer was in Rome at the time filming a movie.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s charged with receiving stolen property and the father of another suspect is charged with helping him avoid arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson already had been charged in the attack and had pleaded not guilty when the county district attorney\u2019s office filed a superceding indictment Tuesday charging him with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a robbery and assault with a semiautomatic firearm.<\/p>\n<p>The move was done \u201cto speed up the legal process\u201d and Jackson was arraigned Wednesday under a new case number, the DA\u2019s office said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr. Jackson was subsequently released from custody by the Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department.
