PETE BUTTIGIEG:\u00a0<\/strong>Really?!<\/p>\n<p><strong>CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: <\/strong>Yes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEC. PETE BUTTIGIEG:\u00a0<\/strong>Look I get it, because the work is not done. But the reason I say \u201creally\u201d is we just passed one of the biggest pieces of infrastructure legislation in American history. It was a promise, and it wasn\u2019t just a promise that the Biden-Harris administration made or that us Democrats made in 2020. This is a promise that every president and every Congress has made in some way shape or form since I\u2019ve been an adult, and we actually did it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD:\u00a0<\/strong>Those are big, broad things and that\u2019s great but I\u2019m talking about things like, things you campaigned on, like the\u00a0George Floyd Policing Act\u00a0and the fact our voting rights. 19 states have implemented voter suppression bills. You know that\u2019s going to directly impact us the most. The only strategy the Democrats are going to have is \u201cwe gotta go out there and vote in mass numbers\u201d to fight it. That\u2019s not a strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEC. PETE BUTTIGIEG: <\/strong>Right. Mobilization is a strategy. These tactics that you\u2019re talking about make mobilization harder.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>You\u2019re absolutely right. That work is not done.
