However, the jurors said Friday that there are several counts which the deliberative body are deadlocked on. Testimony began on March 9.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is not unusual to come back somewhere along the line of deliberations and say &#8216;we tried, but couldn\u2019t get there,'&#8221; Judge Robert Jonker said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detroitnews.com\/story\/news\/local\/michigan\/2022\/04\/08\/michigan-governor-whitmer-federal-kidnap-conspiracy-trial-verdict\/9487618002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Detroit News<\/a>. &#8220;At least not on everything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/trial-michigan-governor-plot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>TRIAL RESUME FOR 4 MEN ACCUSED OF MICHIGAN GOVERNOR PLOT<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jonker encouraged the jurors to continue deliberations in hopes of reaching a unanimous decision, saying, &#8220;Before that\u2019s the final answer, I would like you to go back and make another effort to see if you can come to an agreement on issues you are stuck on as a group.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The trial has lasted over 20 days as the public awaits the final decision on defendants Barry Croft, Adam Fox, Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta. She has <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/virus-outbreak-race-and-ethnicity-donald-trump-kidnapping-health-816581f422e64c8fbb7ca119ed165b6e\"><u>blamed former President Donald Trump <\/u><\/a>for fomenting anger over coronavirus restrictions and refusing to condemn right-wing extremists like those charged in the case. He is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/1st-sentence-to-be-handed-down-in-michigan-govs-kidnap-plot\"><u>among six men<\/u><\/a> charged in federal court but the only one to plead guilty so far.
