Project Veritas\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/for-profit\/democracy-partners\/\">2016 expos\u00e9<\/a> caught the group\u2019s founder Robert Creamer and contractor Scott Foval explaining how they intended on inciting violence at rallies for then-presidential nominee Donald Trump. Creamer \u201cstepped back\u201d from his position after the video went public, and the Clinton campaign didn\u2019t release a statement, presumably to avoid drawing more attention to it.<\/p>\n<p>Teter claimed to have been assaulted by a crowd of protesters at a Trump rally on September 12, 2016, and claimed that Project Veritas\u2019 videos linked her to a plot to incite violence at Trump rallies. Her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seattletimes.com\/nation-world\/nation\/nc-judge-dismisses-libel-case-against-project-veritas\/\">libel suit was tossed in 201<\/a>9, and a battle over legal fees ensued.
