According to the poll, only 39 percent approved of Biden\u2019s presidency. Forty-eight percent disapproved, which is an overall negative nine approval rating.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden\u2019s net approval rating has trended down by three points since March.<\/p>\n<p>Concerning specific issues, Biden received low marks among those who strongly approve of his management on specific issues, such as the economy (18 percent), healthcare (16 percent),\u00a0environment (17 percent), crime\/policing (16 percent), education (17 percent), immigration (14 percent), relations with China (16 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, 56 percent of respondents said the economy was their top issue of concern. Yet only 39 percent of respondents approved of Biden\u2019s management of the economy.<\/p>\n<p>During Biden\u2019s administration, Democrats have struggled to reduce Biden\u2019s 40-year-high inflation, which has been fueled by massive government spending and coronavirus restrictions. Biden has blamed the price hikes on \u201cPutin\u2019s gas hike,\u201d but that accusation has not stuck.<\/p>\n<p>Gas prices, which greatly influence inflation, were already $1.00 greater than the year prior. Since Russia invaded Ukraine, the price of gas has additionally increased by about 70 cents.<\/p>\n<p>According to a March poll, a plurality of voters (39 percent) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecentersquare.com\/national\/polls-voters-blame-biden-for-inflation\/article_bf2811f6-aa0e-11ec-bde8-c3db8056c94f.html\">blame<\/a>s Biden for the high gas prices. Only 18 percent blame oil companies that have been crushed by newly set lending standards by the administration.
