There is no further proof needed than the coordinated attack from career politicians like Hillary Clinton and never Trumpers who are desperate to retain relevancy,\u201d Mowers told Breitbart News.<\/p>\n<p>Mowers referred to a\u00a0recent\u00a0poll by Saint Anselm College Survey Center that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/midterm-election\/2022\/04\/02\/exclusive-new-hampshire-republican-matt-mowers-slams-democrat-chris-pappas-failing-voters\/\">showed<\/a>\u00a046 percent would vote for a Republican candidate, over the\u00a042 percent who said they would vote for a\u00a0generic Democrat,\u00a0giving a GOP candidate a\u00a0four-point lead. The poll also revealed that 46 percent of the voters in the First Congressional District\u00a0said it is time to\u00a0give someone else a chance to represent them, while only 38 percent believe Pappas deserves reelection.<\/p>\n<p>Mowers\u2019 campaign told Breitbart that Mowers has never voted in\u00a0violation of a state\u2019s election laws, noting that he was exercising his right to vote in\u00a0New Hampshire following his time spent electing Republicans as Executive Director of the New Hampshire Republican Party in the 2016 primary.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>After\u00a0Chris Christie dropped out of the 2016 presidential campaign, the campaign explained that Mowers\u00a0moved to\u00a0New Jersey, where he worked and supported Trump\u2019s campaign, working full-time at\u00a0Trump Tower in Manhattan as\u00a0National Field Coordinator &#038; Director of Battleground States.<\/p>\n<p>Mowers further explained that he was \u201cproud to work for President Trump as the GOP establishment was working to undermine his nomination and accepted a job with his campaign in 2016, registered to vote, and casted my vote in accordance with the law, and served as an elected Trump delegate to the Republican National Convention. I was proud to be part of the historic effort to prevent Hillary Clinton from re-entering the White House, and we shouldn\u2019t be surprised she\u2019s joined in smearing my record.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mowers was referring to\u00a0Clinton <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HillaryClinton\/status\/1511351046806908942?s=20&#038;t=2Exwm2ehKVA4Hw6i8xWMsQ\">using<\/a> social media to target himself, to test the waters of a potential political <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/04\/03\/hillary-clinton-democrats-accomplishments-midterms-00022579\">comeback<\/a> in the next presidential election.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Republican officials are so determined to transform voter fraud from a flimsy pretense for suppressing votes to an actual phenomenon, they keep committing it themselves.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cTAQSQn98N\">https:\/\/t.co\/cTAQSQn98N<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HillaryClinton\/status\/1511351046806908942?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 5, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The campaign added that although\u00a0Trump continued to add delegates through the spring, there was\u00a0a\u00a0growing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2016\/03\/25\/trumps-plan-to-stop-a-contested-republican-convention.html\">concern<\/a>\u00a0that the establishment would try and\u00a0force a brokered convention in Cleveland, Ohio. So, Mowers\u00a0not only voted in the New Jersey primary in June but served as a delegate \u2014 which Republican voter registration is a prerequisite \u2014 to the Republican National Convention, giving him an\u00a0integral part of the floor operation, which ended up paving the way for Trump\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The campaign also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RebovichInst\/status\/1511364967471235074\">referred<\/a> to the\u00a0Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics at Rider University, which implied that the Associated Press\u2019 claim does not exist. Campaign professionals move around.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rebovich Institute (@RebovichInst) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RebovichInst\/status\/1511364967471235074?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 5, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Additionally, state Rep.\u00a0Ross Berry (R), a member of the\u00a0New Hampshire House Election Law Committee, came out in support of Mowers, saying, \u201cAs one of the largest advocates for voter integrity in New Hampshire, I can objectively say that Matt Mowers did not violate any of New Hampshire\u2019s voting laws.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew Matt in 2016, and he was well within his rights under New Hampshire law to cast a ballot in the primary as he clearly met the definition of a qualified voter,\u201d Berry continued. \u201cAnd in fact exceeded the definition, since he was living and working in Manchester.\u00a0Being young and mobile is not a crime in New Hampshire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact is he had a lease at the time and had clearly established an intention to stay in the Granite State for the foreseeable future means that he easily met the requirements to cast a ballot in our elections,\u201d Berry added.<\/p>\n<p><i>Jacob Bliss is a reporter for Breitbart News.
