A prosecutor dismissed that testimony as \u201cnonsense.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter allegedly claimed, \u201cThere were a ton of FBI informants amongst the people\u201d at the Capitol on January 6, according to a video released by Project Veritas. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8nL3BPSmY9\">https:\/\/t.co\/8nL3BPSmY9<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1501961660046663680?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 10, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The judge, however, disagreed. He said video shows two police officers standing near the Rotunda doors and allowing people to enter as Martin approached. One of the officers appeared to lean back before Martin placed a hand on the officer\u2019s shoulder as a possible sign of gratitude, the judge said.<\/p>\n<p>McFadden described Martin\u2019s testimony as \u201clargely credible.\u201d The judge said it was not unreasonable for him to believe that officers allowed him to enter the Capitol, even though alarms were blaring and broken glass was strewn about the floor, according to AP.<\/p>\n<p>Martin,\u00a0federal defense contractor, held a security clearance and took personal leave from his job on Jan. 6.<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested in April 2021 and faced charges of entering and remaining in a restricted building; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building; violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building; and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building, NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/justice-department\/judge-acquits-federal-defense-contractor-jan-6-charges-rcna23245\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20562950\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/04\/GettyImages-1230453460.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>File\/Supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump roam under the Capitol Rotunda after invading the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, in Washington, DC. (SAUL LOEB\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Martin is the third Capitol riot defendant whose case has been resolved by a trial.<\/p>\n<p>He is the first of the three to be acquitted of all charges that he faced.
