He noted that although Biden appears to be shifting jobs back to America, it is \u201cnow happening out of sheer necessity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn fact, the whole foreign direct investment and re-shoring, while it started from my perspective in 2010, it really kicked into high gear in 2016,\u201d Brown said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s when President Trump obviously took office and he has put in place some very strong economic incentives for companies to bring manufacturing back onshore.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBut it\u2019s now happening out of sheer necessity. And it was eventually going to happen, but this whole pandemic has certainly acted as a catalyst to accelerate that trend,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Brown said that most products can be manufactured onshore in the United States in a way that is \u201cfar better for our environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about increased gas prices, food shortages, and the supply chain crisis, Brown said these things \u201ccannot be resolved in short order.\u201d \u201cWe\u2019ve seen countries around the world stop exporting their food products because they know the shortages are coming so they have to keep their food production on shore,\u201d Brown said.<\/p>\n<p>After host Alex Marlow discussed the commonalities between the World Economic Forum\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/secure.brownstoneresearch.com\/?cid=MKT602858&#038;eid=MKT625841\">Great Reset,<\/a>\u201d Biden\u2019s Build Back Better plan, and the Democrat\u2019s Green New Deal, Brown said they are \u201cin a very frightening way very intertwined with each other.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brown talked about how he is more concerned with the World Economic Forum\u2019s promotion of transhumanism than their proposed great reset, which he refers to as a great recalibration.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe one that has me even more concerned is this concept of transhumanism, which in the World Economic Forum has been discussed widely,\u201d Brown said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that transhumanism \u201cis really referring to the genetic modification, genetic editing of our DNA on a large scale, with the explicit purpose to monitor what\u2019s happening, both inside of our bodies, but also to obviously elicit certain traits in our own character, or physiology.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s frightening is that this is actually a very real and intentional discussion that\u2019s happening associated with this with this great reset,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The conversation shifted towards inflation, and Marlow asked Brown if he had any hedges to recommend to people to combat inflation.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20464778\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/03\/wi\/ap\/31\/inflation-rebates-gas-prices-displayed-at-gas-station-friday-march-11-2022-beach-calif-rebates-ca.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Gas prices are displayed at a gas station Friday, March 11, 2022, in Long Beach, CA. You\u2019re exactly right,\u201d Brown said. \u201cThis is entirely the results of Biden\u2019s monetary policies. What have we seen in the last 15 months? \u2014 roughly $5 trillion worth of printing. An extraordinary number by any accounts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He explained that gold would not be as good of a hedge now as it was under former President Barack Obama\u2019s administration. \u201cIt\u2019s just not reacting in the way that it used to,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He warned against people keeping their cash savings in a bank account.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reality is, is that when we have seven and a half, eight percent inflation, and the average bank account is only yielding, you know, less than a fraction of a percent,\u201d Brown said, \u201cthen we have negative real interest rates, which means if we leave cash in the bank, basically the government is effectively confiscating, you know, seven, seven and a half percent of our wealth or of our cash savings annually. And so, that\u2019s not a safe place for our assets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He propped up the benefits of a 30- or 20-year fixed loan as a way to combat inflation. \u201cAnd a 30-year fixed loan or a 20-year fixed loan is the greatest hedge that you can have against irresponsible monetary policy because you\u2019re paying back that loan with devalued dollars at the same nominal rate,\u201d Brown said.<\/p>\n<p>The upcoming midterm elections will be an opportunity for America to change course over the next two to three years, Brown noted. He said the immediate impact of Biden\u2019s economic policies would drive Americans to the voting booth this November.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn terms of awareness to use your words, a silver lining, the immediate impact of these egregious policies is so visible to everyone every day,\u201d Brown said. \u201cIt\u2019s not just our gas prices. It\u2019s literally our electricity prices, it\u2019s our costs for natural gas. it\u2019s a cost for heating oil.
