Where do you draw the line?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, women deserve access to abortion care,\u201d said Hobbs, without addressing the question. \u201cAbortion is healthcare. I\u2019ve been very clear on my position on that throughout my time in the Legislature.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cSo if I\u2019m elected governor, that\u2019s what folks are getting,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I will work with the Legislature that\u2019s in place to ensure that women have continued access to reproductive healthcare.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The host pressed her again, asking, \u201cBut where do you draw the line though? I mean, if it\u2019s not 15 weeks, is it 24 weeks? Where do you draw the line where you say, \u2018OK abortions after this point of time, no, it\u2019s a no go?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hobbs did not name one limit that she would oppose on abortion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbortion is a personal decision between a woman and her family and her doctor,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd that\u2019s something that needs to be discussed in the medical exam room, not by politicians.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hobbs did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Daily Wire.<\/p>\n<p>Her discussion with the CBS affiliate refers to <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/us-supreme-court-sports-health-arizona-doug-ducey-a580e3231de74c1bb943a68c4aded72c\">legislation signed<\/a> by Republican Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey last week. In addition to the state\u2019s new law banning most abortions after 15 weeks, Ducey also signed legislation banning gender confirmation surgeries for minors and biological males from competing in women\u2019s sports.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona is considered a battleground state when it comes to pro-life issues: in March, CatholicVote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/campaign-urges-hispanic-catholics-to-call-out-pro-abortion-dem-senators\">launched a six-figure ad campaign<\/a> urging Hispanic voters to challenge pro-abortion Catholic senators in both Arizona and Nevada over their recent votes on the Women\u2019s Health Protection Act.<\/p>\n<p>Building on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/wsj-poll-biden-ukraine-inflation-midterms-11646975533\">Wall Street Journal polling<\/a> showing that Republicans are gaining support among both black and Hispanic voters, the\u00a0six-figure campaign zoned in on Democratic Arizona Sen.
