That email \u201coutlined the proposed percentage distribution of equity in a company created for a joint venture with CEFC China Energy Co,\u201d the Post reported.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The proposed plan, sent on March 13, 2017, included \u201c10 held by H for the big guy?\u201d The question about the \u201cbig guy\u201d arose during an ongoing federal investigation in Delaware into Hunter Biden. Hunter Biden\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/12\/09\/us\/politics\/hunter-biden-tax-investigation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirmed<\/a>\u00a0he was under federal investigation for his \u201ctax affairs\u201d the month before his father was inaugurated. However, recent\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/hunter-biden-investigation-federal-tax-new-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a>\u00a0revealed the investigation broadened to include whether Hunter Biden and his associates violated tax, money laundering, and foreign lobbying laws.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the <em>Washington Post<\/em>, the <em>New York Times<\/em>, CNN, and other establishment media confirmed the existence of Hunter Biden\u2019s infamous laptop after\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2020\/10\/19\/hunter-biden-story-russian-disinfo-430276\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">writing<\/a>\u00a0it off as a \u201cRussian information operation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Post<\/em>\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2022\/03\/30\/hunter-biden-laptop-data-examined\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirmed<\/a>\u00a0last week that CEFC China Energy Co. sent $4.8 million in payments during 2017 and 2018 to entities controlled by Hunter Biden and his brother James.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Tony Bobulinski, a U.S. Navy Veteran and former business partner to Hunter Biden, said that the \u201cbig guy\u201d is \u201c1000 percent\u201d Hunter Biden\u2019s father, President Joe Biden, during an October 2020\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1321248948439392259\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hunter Biden\u2019s former business partner Tony Bobulinski: \u201cI 1000% sit here and know that &#8216;the big guy&#8217; is referencing Joe Biden\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CDtS3zSI7P\">https:\/\/t.co\/CDtS3zSI7P<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HlttD5WOPw\">pic.twitter.com\/HlttD5WOPw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1321248948439392259?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 28, 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Biden White House has been trying to distance itself from Hunter Biden as his laptop and federal investigation return to mainstream headlines. White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain recently\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/04\/03\/klain-hunter-biden-ethics-00022568\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>, \u201cI want to just be really clear, these are actions by Hunter and his brother. They\u2019re private matters. They don\u2019t involve the president. And they certainly are something that no one at the White House is involved in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Klein also\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/04\/03\/klain-hunter-biden-ethics-00022568\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>\u00a0that Joe Biden was \u201cconfident that his son didn\u2019t break the law\u201d and \u201cconfident that his family did the right thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Legal scholar Jonathan Turley\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/opinion\/judiciary\/3257164-bidens-absolute-defense-of-hunter-leaves-media-and-justice-department-in-a-muddle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>Even if President Biden was not influenced by all of this, it\u2019s hard to believe he didn\u2019t know his son was selling access.
