Gov. Dan Patrick (R) said he wants to pass a law similar to Florida\u2019s Parental Rights in Education, saying such a bill would be a \u201ctop priority\u201d for him in the Texas legislature\u2019s upcoming session.<\/p>\n<p>Lt. Gov. Patrick said he was appalled by the Walt Disney Co.\u2019s open hostility to the Florida law, with company leaders vowing to work to overturn the law in the courts or in the legislature.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAt first, I was angry at their over-the-top radical resistance,\u201d he said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.danpatrick.org\/i-am-done-with-disney\/\">re-election campaign e-mail message<\/a> that was also posted to his campaign\u2019s website.\u00a0\u201cI will make this law a top priority in the next session. Cancel your park trip or your cruise if one is planned. If you own Disney stock, sell it.
