The broad public health authority, which serves as a border control measure, allows federal immigration officials to quickly return border crossers and illegal aliens to their native countries.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Former President Trump invoked Title 42 in 2020, the first time in American history that the order was used at the border to ensure that American citizens were protected from viral infections, diseases, and illnesses that border crossers and illegal aliens could be carrying, specifically the Chinese coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p>Biden officials admit that lifting Title 42 is likely to bring\u00a0a massive\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/03\/30\/bidens-deputies-500000-migrants-per-month-expected-at-border\/\">influx<\/a>\u00a0of border crossers and illegal aliens to the border, with potentially 500,000 arriving at the border every month \u2014 a more than doubling of current illegal immigration levels.<\/p>\n<p>During an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot\u2019s <em>Breitbart News Daily<\/em>, Paxton said the Biden administration continues to treat coronavirus as \u201ca real threat\u201d for Americans, but when it comes to hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens showing up at the United States-Mexico border, coronavirus \u201cis irrelevant.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><strong>LISTEN:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Biden] wants as many people crossing that border as possible and he\u2019s doing everything he possibly can, ignoring federal law, to do that,\u201d Paxton said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Americans, they\u2019re treating it as if COVID is still a real threat,\u201d Paxton said. \u201cI was wearing a mask on a plane yesterday even though they don\u2019t have the authority to do that. We\u2019ve sued over that. They continue to push their vaccines for Americans but as it relates to illegal immigration, COVID is irrelevant, doesn\u2019t matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea here is that COVID matters for Americans but illegal immigration is a higher priority and getting as many people here overrides the possible risk of death to Americans,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>As Breitbart News reported, even as Biden plans to end Title 42, Americans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/03\/biden-opens-border-to-migrants-keeps-mask-mandate-for-traveling-americans\/\">remain forced<\/a> to wear masks on all domestic commercial flights. Biden has also sought to force Americans, working for large companies and federal agencies, to take one of three approved coronavirus vaccines or risk being fired.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, the states of Arizona, Louisiana, and Missouri <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/04\/arizona-louisiana-missouri-sue-biden-ending-title-42-border-control\/\">filed a lawsuit<\/a> against Biden in federal court, claiming that he broke federal law when he announced an end to Title 42 last week. Biden officials failed to consider the cost that more illegal immigration will have on state taxpayers, the lawsuit alleges.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s own top agency officials have admitted that ending Title 42 will bring illegal immigration to the U.S. at levels never seen before in American history. This week, for instance, Biden\u2019s Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Chief, Chris Magnus,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/04\/bidens-border-chief-ending-title-42-spur-increase-illegal-immigration\/\">said the agency<\/a> expects an \u201cincrease\u201d in illegal immigration as a result.<\/p>\n<p>An <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/border\/2022\/04\/04\/exclusive-leaked-dhs-document-reveals-bidens-mass-migration-plan-offers-broadscale-release-mechanisms\/\">exclusive report<\/a> by Breitbart News details the administration\u2019s plans for \u201cbroadscale release mechanisms\u201d that will use American taxpayer money to more quickly free hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior every few months.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>John Binder is a reporter for Breitbart News.
