And it\u2019s fair to say that most Republicans showed little interest in working with us to get anything done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The former president did not mention his own part in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/obama-lies-republican-predictions-about-obamacare-ben-shapiro\/\">spreading misinformation<\/a> about the law, as Greg Price noted in his tweet: \u201cI can think of one: \u2018If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Obama alluded to the fact that some Americans had been concerned that they might lose their health care plans or be forced to choose new doctors \u2014 both of which turned out to be well-founded fears \u2014 but he did not mention the numerous times that he had falsely assured the people that was not the case.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Obama repeated the false claim \u201cif you like your doctor\/health care plan, you can keep your doctor\/health care plan\u201d so many times that Politifact awarded it with the auspicious title \u201cLie of the Year\u201d in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>As Politifact <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politifact.com\/article\/2013\/dec\/12\/lie-year-if-you-like-your-health-care-plan-keep-it\/\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>It was a catchy political pitch and a chance to calm nerves about his dramatic and complicated plan to bring historic change to America\u2019s health insurance system.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIf you like your health care plan, you can keep it,\u201d President Barack Obama said \u2014 many times \u2014 of his landmark new law.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But the promise was impossible to keep.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So this fall, as cancellation letters were going out to approximately 4 million Americans, the public realized Obama\u2019s breezy assurances were wrong.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><i>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest growing conservative media companies for breaking news, investigative reporting, sports, podcasts, in-depth analysis, books, and entertainment for a reason: because we believe in what we do.
