One group was defined as black voters who always vote Democratic, ages 25 and older, and the other was \u201cyouth base\u201d, or voters aged 25-39 who always vote for Democrats. The latter group presumably consisted of various races, though white voters were quoted.\u00a0Politico Playbook reported the key concerns both the black and youth-base Democrats had in President Biden\u2019s America:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u2014 A preoccupation with inflation and crime.<br \/>\u2014 Exhaustion with pandemic restrictions.<br \/>\u2014 Cynicism about politics.<br \/>\u2014 Deep frustration that President\u00a0<b>JOE BIDEN\u00a0<\/b>and Democrats have failed to deliver on their early promises.<br \/>\u2014 Sympathy for Ukraine mixed with a lack of enthusiasm for Biden spending too much time and money on the issue.<br \/>\u2014 Ambiguity about how important Jan. 6 should be for Democrats in the midterms.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Words the voters used to describe their feelings in President Biden\u2019s America included:\u00a0\u201cexhausted,\u201d \u201cuptight,\u201d \u201cunsure,\u201d \u201cconcerned\u201d and \u201canxious.\u201d Some told the survey that wages have remained low, food costs have increased, and housing prices have shot straight up.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Not all Democrats are in touch with black voters\u2019 concerns. Playbook noted a \u201cyawning gap\u201d between Democrat elitists inside Washington, DC, and their voting base of young and black voters. The economy was the greatest point of disagreement between the opposite socioeconomic\u00a0spectrums.<\/p>\n<p>Playbook admitted the Democrat elitist insiders are engaged in \u201cself-deception\u201d by convincing themselves the media are responsible for Biden\u2019s terrible economy and not Biden\u2019s policies. It seems as though the Democrat insiders are avoiding the truth about Biden\u2019s price hikes and are blaming their voters for confirming the hard reality of the everyday economic pinch on the street.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA cottage industry of White House officials and left-wing media critics who talk to each other on Twitter has convinced themselves that the media is responsible for the public\u2019s overwhelming focus on the bad news of inflation rather than the good news of low unemployment and rising wages,\u201d Playbook wrote.\u00a0\u201cThe focus groups exploded that bit of Democratic self-deception.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Throughout Biden\u2019s presidency, black voters have become less supportive of the president. In Georgia, for instance,\u00a0Biden\u2019s approval rating among black registered voters\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/02\/03\/poll-black-voters-approval-of-joe-biden-takes-28-point-plunge-in-georgia\/\">dropped<\/a> nearly 30 percent from May 2021 to February 2022. Nationwide, black voter support for Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/05\/poll-biden-approval-tanks-among-black-voters\/\">sunk<\/a> double-digits from 72 percent to 52 percent from February to November of 2021.\u00a0A March poll revealed black voters have more than\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/11\/poll-republicans-take-9-point-lead-hispanics-more-than-double-black-support-27-percent\/\">doubled<\/a> their support of Republicans since November to 27 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats will need all the help they can get from these voters heading into the November midterms.
