The rumor stems from a website that says it contains \u201chumor, parody, and satire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Serving as White House coronavirus response coordinator during the Trump administration, Birx announced in December 2020 that she planned to retire after President Joe Biden took office, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2020\/12\/22\/949385834\/deborah-birx-white-house-coronavirus-coordinator-to-retire-after-biden-transitio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NPR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook post alleged Birx was killed at Naval Base Guam via firing squad by the U.S. Navy JAG Corps and the Office of Military Commissions for \u201ctreason and mass medical malpractice.\u201d In the comments section, the user linked to a <a href=\"https:\/\/arutzshevatuzarapost.substack.com\/p\/dr-deborah-birx-was-executed-last?s=r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Substack article<\/a> from freelance writer <a href=\"https:\/\/muckrack.com\/joe-tuzara\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/arutzshevatuzarapost.substack.com\/p\/dr-deborah-birx-was-executed-last?s%3Dr%26fbclid%3DIwAR3DSQN3Uq4yD0z5uMOw1kvYciFYHJAvkvs33HE2FyNBQH496EdWOHaioL4&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1649209422060000&#038;usg=AOvVaw3PBDuJjOKY3xbkjEtFKAdK\">Joe Tuzara<\/a>, who credited the article to Michael Baxter at Real Raw News.<\/p>\n<p>Birx has not been executed nor is she in the custody of federal authorities.
