Moreover, the company says that Musk will not\u00a0own or control more than 14.9 percent of Twitter shares, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/business\/2022\/04\/05\/elon-musk-floats-idea-editing-tweets-stock-swoop\/\">report<\/a> by the <em>Telegraph<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>But the billionaire\u2019s Twitter stake does not rule out full buyout,\u00a0some Wall Street analysts say, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/markets\/elon-musk-twitter-stake-analysts-strategy\">reports<\/a> Fox Business.<\/p>\n<p>While Musk\u2019s stake in Twitter company is considered passive, there are analysts who believe he has more planned for the social media company\u2019s long-term strategy. CFRA Research senior equity analyst Angelo Zino says that a potential all-out buyout of the company could still be on the table.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Musk\u00a0purchased 73,486,938 shares of Twitter\u2019s common stock, likely paying around $33 a share or $2.4 billion. As of Friday, the shares were up to about $39, a return of around 18 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Following the disclosure in a regulatory filing, shares jumped another 27 percent to $49.97.
