(Photo by Willy Sanjuan\/Invision\/AP)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>For me, the hardest moments have been the right-wing-media machine just leveraging literally all its weight against me, against our movement, against BLM the organization,\u201d Cullors said. \u201cI\u2019m some weeks out now from a lot of the noise, so I have more perspective, right? While I was in it, I was in survival mode.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>New York Magazine<\/em> noted Cullors was likely referring to the <em>New York Post<\/em> article detailing another luxury house purchase scandal of which she was at the center. She allegedly spent nearly $3 million on four homes. Several days after the patio video, Cullors resigned as executive director of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think they\u2019ve\u00a0<em>attempted<\/em>\u00a0to cancel us, but they have not been\u00a0<em>successful<\/em>\u00a0in canceling us,\u201d Abdullah added. \u201cThey\u2019ve attempted to say \u2014 and I\u2019m just gonna say it \u2014 \u2018She bought some damn houses. We gonna cancel her.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Attacking critics, Abdullah said, \u201cWho the fuck are you? You ain\u2019t done shit.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Garza also defended Cullors, saying, \u201cY\u2019all don\u2019t know shit about what it takes to live in a box here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But the Black Lives Matter luxury mansion is no \u201cbox.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>According to <em>New York Magazine<\/em>, the mansion has \u201cmore than half a dozen bedrooms and bathrooms, several fireplaces, a soundstage, a pool and bungalow, and parking for more than 20 cars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Documents reveal intentions for the house were in conflict, with some messages saying the house was to be used as a \u201csafe house\u201d for leaders whose lives had been threatened, while others said it was a staging ground for social media influencers to create content and spread the organization\u2019s message.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16261664\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/GettyImages-873730414.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16261664\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/GettyImages-873730414.png\" alt=\"Woman of the Year 2016 and Black Lives Matter cofounder Patrisse Khan-Cullors poses during Glamour Celebrates 2017 Women Of The Year Live Summit at Brooklyn Museum on November 13, 2017 in New York City. Savenok\/Getty Images for Glamour)<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>An April 1 email shows BLMGNF board member\u00a0Shalomyah Bowers intending for the mansion to \u201cserve as housing and studio space for recipients of the Black Joy Creators Fellowship,\u201d which apparently \u201cprovides recording resources and dedicated space for Black creatives to launch content online and in real life focused on abolition, healing justice, urban agriculture and food justice, pop culture, activism, and politics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The mansion was purchased by Dyane Pascall in 2020 after the organization received a massive inflow of $66.5 after the death of George Floyd. Pascall is the financial manager of the Cullors\u2019 and her husband\u2019s LLC,\u00a0Janaya and Patrisse Consulting, as well as the chief financial officer of Trap Heals, a nonprofit run by the father of Cullors\u2019 child, Damon Turner.<\/p>\n<p>After the purchase, ownership of the Southern California mansion was transferred to an LLC in Delaware, which was established by left-wing law firm Perkins Coie \u2014 home of high-profile Democrat election lawyer Marc Elias. This move allowed for Black Lives Matter to keep secret the true owner of the mansion, according to <em>New York Magazine<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The outlet also noted conversations in a chat called \u201cBLM Security Hub\u201d on the secure messaging platform Signal in which there appears to be \u201cintermingling\u201d of several different entities \u2014 something that some nonprofit experts say could \u201cjeopardize the charity\u2019s tax-exempt status.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The group message contains BLMGNF as well as companies Bowers Consulting, Janaya and Patrisse Consulting, among others. Apparently, Cullors\u2019 brother, Paul Cullors, was the \u201chead of physical security\u201d for the BLM mansion and other properties his sister had purchased with private funds. Cullors\u2019 mother and sister also appear involved with the BLM property.<\/p>\n<p>Two months after the mansion was purchased, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) granted BLMGNF tax-exempt status.
