The problem is simple. The American people have lost confidence in him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone needs to come to terms with the reality that we\u2019re going to get slaughtered in November,\u201d the strategist reportedly continued. \u201cThat\u2019s a fact. His polling has gotten worse not better. It\u2019s indicative of the fact that people have lost confidence in his leadership. (Anna Moneymaker\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Gallup senior editor Jeff Jones said \u201chigh gas prices are one of the biggest anchors on presidential approval.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/31\/joe-biden-poll-black-approval-2024-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Poll: Biden\u2019s Support Among Black Voters Cratered In Past Nine Months)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A recently released <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/28\/joe-biden-job-approval-new-low\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NBC News poll<\/a> revealed Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/23\/biden-approval-rating-drops-again-midterms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">approval<\/a> rating hit new lows amid the war in Ukraine and surging inflation.<\/p>\n<p>Among those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/21554083-nbc-news-march-poll\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">polled<\/a>, 40% approved of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/01\/06\/biden-approval-rating-sinks-civiqs-poll-24-independents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biden\u2019s<\/a> handling of the presidency, with just 16% strongly approving. The poll highlights growing concern about inflation and America\u2019s role on the world stage. Fifty-three percent of respondents indicated that the U.S. is experiencing the beginning of a long-term decline.<\/p>\n<p>Thirty-eight percent of respondents blamed Biden for surging inflation. The poll was conducted between March 18-22 among 1,000 adults, 790 of whom are registered voters.
