The broad public health authority, which serves as a border control measure, allows federal immigration officials to quickly return border crossers and illegal aliens to their native countries.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Former President Trump invoked Title 42 in 2020, the first time in American history that the order was used at the border to protect Americans from the spread of the Chinese coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p>Magnus, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/03\/30\/bidens-deputies-500000-migrants-per-month-expected-at-border\/\">other Biden officials<\/a>, conceded in a statement on Monday that ending Title 42 will further strain CBP resources, drive an even higher wave of illegal immigration to the U.S., and ensure that the administration releases more border crossers and illegal aliens into the nation\u2019s interior.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a result of the CDC\u2019s termination of its Title 42 public health order, we will likely face an increase in encounters above the current high levels,\u201d Magnus said. \u201cThere are a significant number of individuals who were unable to access the asylum system for the past two years, and who may decide that now is the time to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe are doing everything we can to prepare for this increase, ensure we continue to process people humanely, and impose consequences on those who break the law,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20517365\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/04\/GettyImages-1061246604.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Hundreds of Central American migrants \u2014 mostly Hondurans \u2014 moving towards the United States in hopes of a better life, wait for buses at the La Concha phytosanitary station in the State of Sinaloa on November 13, 2018. This is the equivalent of a population the size of Atlanta, Georgia, or Fresno, California arriving at the border over the course of just 28 to 30 days.<\/p>\n<p>Magnus said CBP would, among other measures, expand coordination with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) \u201cto help facilitate short-term-care and transportation\u201d for border crossers and illegal aliens being released into the U.S. interior.<\/p>\n<p>As Breitbart News reported, the Biden administration is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/01\/bidens-next-move-busing-flying-thousands-of-illegal-aliens-into-american-communities-every-day\/\">hugely ramping up<\/a> its expansive Catch and Release network where border crossers and illegal aliens are briefly detained before being bused into border towns and flown into American communities with the help of NGOs.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Monday, the states of Missouri, Louisiana, and Arizona <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/04\/04\/arizona-louisiana-missouri-sue-biden-ending-title-42-border-control\/\">filed a lawsuit<\/a> against Biden for his plans to end Title 42.
