The company reported <strong>a <\/strong>record-high for its stock last summer, spurring the demand for better wages and benefits.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Schultz never faced a unionization effort, and the company faces allegations of intimidation and retaliation against those campaigning and trying to organize the votes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/lifestyle\/amazon-labor-union-vote-april-2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>AMAZON WORKERS AT STATEN ISLAND FACILITY VOTE IN FAVOR OF UNION, FIRST IN COMPANY&#8217;S HISTORY<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>His return prompted a warning from Sen. And I am saddened and concerned to hear anyone thinks that is needed now,&#8221; Schultz wrote.<\/p>\n<p>But some union organizers complain that the company instead provides inconsistent hours, poor training, understaffing and low wages.
