You\u2019ll be angry, but don\u2019t take it personally. It\u2019s not you, it\u2019s your car.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe did this because driving around urban areas in your massive vehicle has huge consequences for others,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/tyreextinguishers.com\/leaflet\">eco-leaflet<\/a>, which has been translated into multiple languages, continues.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Those driving hybrid or electric cars are not exempt from the ire of the Tyre Extinguishers, with the radicals claiming that they are \u201cstill polluting, dangerous, and cause congestion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ll have no difficulty getting around without your gas guzzler, with walking, cycling, or public transport,\u201d the extremists assert.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Good morning \u2013 yesterday Tyre Extinguishers struck again in Hove, Sussex.<\/p>\n<p>Will your area be next? Join us at <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cmqm5IOeg7\">https:\/\/t.co\/cmqm5IOeg7<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/LupsjxSy1m\">pic.twitter.com\/LupsjxSy1m<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Tyre Extinguishers (@T_Extinguishers) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/T_Extinguishers\/status\/1508721004587241479?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 29, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Taking credit for putting thousands of others at risk in a statement on Friday, the Tyre Extinguishers <a href=\"https:\/\/tyreextinguishers.com\/news?slug=tyre-extinguishers-action-continues-in-brighton-hackney-and-clapham-as-police-launch-operation-extinguisher\">said<\/a>: \u201cSo far, the Tyre Extinguishers have disarmed nearly 2,000 SUVs in the UK, in Brighton, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bristol and Edinburgh, in repeated actions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlans are being made to launch the Tyre Extinguishers leaflet in four other languages as interest grows internationally.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Some affected by the group\u2019s extreme tactics have warned about the potentially dangerous consequences of deflating tyres, especially given that SUVs are popular vehicles for larger families in Britain.<\/p>\n<p>One mother is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kentlive.news\/news\/uk-world-news\/activists-target-hundreds-cars-across-6771169\">reported<\/a> by Kent Live as having said: \u201cYou let down my tyres and I didn\u2019t notice until I started driving with my three children in my car. My car is fully electric.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe also had a child that required to be at the hospital for an appointment in the city. Thankfully we had a second car.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some law enforcement forces have begun to catch on to the group, including the Sussex Police, which <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/T_Extinguishers\/status\/1508754305549053961\">released<\/a> CCTV footage to the public in the hopes of identifying two radicals who had deflated an SUV in Brighton and Hove.<\/p>\n<p>A spokeswoman for the Tyre Extinguishers, Marion Walker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10676939\/Eco-vigilantes-say-theyve-deflated-tyres-nearly-2-000-SUVs-month-UK-cities.html\">told<\/a> the <em>Daily Mail<\/em>: \u201cUnless a bobby is posted beside every SUV in the country 24 hours a day, we don\u2019t expect anyone to be apprehended.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBetter to break the law than allow these killer vehicles to continue to be used on our streets.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We like that Sussex Police have labelled this video &#8220;Operation Extinguisher&#8221; \u2026! \ud83d\udc6e\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\ude94 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/guoRIi4O0D\">pic.twitter.com\/guoRIi4O0D<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Tyre Extinguishers (@T_Extinguishers) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/T_Extinguishers\/status\/1508754305549053961?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 29, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>With Spring weather approaching in Britain, eco-activism has begun emerging from its annual state of hibernation.
