He will write an official letter to apologize, and effectively beg for their forgiveness,\u201d the source said.\u201dHe is also expected to hold a call with show bosses in the next 24 hours. April 18 is D-Day, though \u2014 he will find out if he still has an Oscar, and quite possibly, a career.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actor faces a possible range of disciplinary action, including expulsion, for striking Chris Rock in the face during the live Oscars telecast Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Watch below<\/strong> (Warning: Strong language)<\/em>:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This type of thuggish behavior has no place in civilized society.
