It was extended in August under the Biden administration, this time with an exception for unaccompanied minors, as COVID-19 continued to rage around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Border patrol agents are reportedly concerned of a surge in migrants trying to enter the U.S. once Title 42 expires, according to a report <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/border-patrol-agents-migrant-wave-title-42\">published<\/a> by Fox News. One border patrol agent reportedly said they \u201care expecting to get wrecked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn my opinion \u2026 I think that those numbers will increase, especially from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras because \u2026 they\u2019ll be given, from what I\u2019m hearing, a notice to appear if things don\u2019t change between now and then or Title 42 goes away \u2026 I think that\u2019s the hope, that everybody\u2019s keeping their fingers crossed that there\u2019s an extension, but there\u2019s not a very good likelihood of that happening,\u201d Val Verde County Sheriff Joe Frank Martinez <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/30\/law-enforcement-title-42-covid-19-del-rio-texas\/\">recently<\/a> told the Daily Caller News Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Biden has <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/25\/cnn-biden-border-crisis-staggering\/\">struggled<\/a> throughout his presidency with a crisis at the border, and the number of migrants crossing at the Southern border recently jumped once again, The Washington Post <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/Iisid\">reported<\/a>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/21\/joe-biden-cnn-town-hall-southern-border\/\">(RELATED:\u00a0Biden Says He Guesses He Should Visit Southern Border, But Notes He\u2019s Been Busy)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adding to concerns is the number of migrants being held by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) \u2013 at over 15,000 migrants, CBP is over its capacity limits, The Post <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/Iisid#selection-579.238-593.1\">added<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The White House is not in the dark about the concerns. White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield told <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/30\/white-house-admits-the-border-crisis-is-about-to-get-a-lot-worse\/\">reporters<\/a> on March 30 that they are anticipating a surge of migrants once Title 42 ends.
