Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), who is running for Sen. Jim Inhofe\u2019s (R-OK) open Senate seat, accused President Biden of significantly damaging national security by deliberately creating a border crisis to expand the Democrat voter bloc, calling for an investigation into the president over his actions as well as the \u201clawless activity\u201d of his son Hunter, while blasting his attempts to \u201cforce\u201d an unwelcome nuclear deal with Iran that only benefits Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Biden\u2019s \u201cIntentional\u201d Border Crisis<\/b><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Wednesday, Mullin addressed the current border crisis, claiming it was created by the president and poses specific challenges to the Sooner State, which serves as an integral transit point to the rest of the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cJoe Biden has made all states border states and Oklahoma is no different,\u201d he said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mullin, who is a member of the House Intelligence Committee where he works heavily on the country\u2019s fentanyl problem, contrasted current border security with that under the Trump administration.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cFrom day one you saw the reversal of Trump\u2019s policies from the Biden administration on January 20, and since then it\u2019s just been an absolute disaster,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He then described visiting the border earlier in the year with Border Patrol agents sharing details of the current situation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIn the month of January alone they caught more fentanyl going across the border that could kill every single person in Oklahoma \u2014 and that was just in the first month of this year,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd so when we say that all states have become border states it\u2019s because of these disastrous [Biden administration] policies,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The U.S. Senate candidate noted how Oklahoma\u2019s crossroads are exploited by various traffickers.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cOklahoma City is called the \u2018Crossroads of America\u2019 because we have so many interstates that intersect right there,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd where they intersect they can disperse drugs and [proliferate] sex trafficking everywhere.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThey can literally take and reach almost every part of the country from Oklahoma City because of the way the interstate system is,\u201d he added. \u201cSo they take advantage of that.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>As a result, Mullin stated that Oklahoma has been suffering a major influx of drugs and sex trafficking, causing a \u201csignificant\u201d national security issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe border crisis has spilled over to a national crisis,\u201d he warned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Despite a full-time drug interdiction unit dedicated to pulling over suspicious vehicles, Mullin noted more needed to be done.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019re trying to adapt in Oklahoma the best we can because of the influx [but] we just don\u2019t have the police force necessary to deal with this on this scale,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cOnce again, the drug cartels take advantage of that,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mullin expressed his belief that the flooding of the country with illegal immigrants is a deliberate policy of the Biden administration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI think it\u2019s 100 percent intentional,\u201d he said. \u201cThe border policies are coming from the Biden administration without question.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe Biden [border] crisis going on is created because the Democrats want amnesty \u2014 they want an open border policy and they almost have one,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Citing Border Patrol estimates that over 400,000 illegal immigrants have escaped just this year inside the U.S. with the country \u201cat a 26 year low on deportation of people that we\u2019ve caught and we have literally let back out into the country,\u201d Mullin said there is no justification for it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThere\u2019s no excuse for that other than this is what their idea is,\u201d he said. \u201cI think it\u2019s 100 percent political too because they believe they win on the Hispanic vote, and so the more Hispanics they can flood into the United States regardless if they\u2019re legal or not they feel like that\u2019s good for them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThat\u2019s why they don\u2019t want to have any voter ID [laws],\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mullin decried Democrats\u2019 issuance of legal IDs for illegal immigrants in order to gain political advantages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThey want to allow illegal immigrants to have driver\u2019s licenses, which would be nearly impossible then for us to check to see how they\u2019re registered \u2014 if they have legal status or not \u2014 when they have a legal ID inside the United States because they have states issuing driver\u2019s license to them,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd it\u2019s all political for them,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Recalling a conference with then-President Barack Obama in 2013 wherein immigration was discussed, Mullin claimed it was clearly regarded as an issue strictly of electoral support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c[Obama] stood up in front of us all, put his hands to his chest, and said, \u2018Look, I\u2019m doing you guys a favor by even allowing immigration be a conversation because it\u2019s not like I need this,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cAnd then he looked over at the people who were with him and asked: \u2018What did I get? 76-77 percent of the Hispanic vote?\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThat\u2019s their mindset about immigration, it\u2019s a voting block for them,\u201d he added. \u201cIt has nothing to do with what\u2019s best for the country or the national security risk that runs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Potential Biden Impeachment<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Asked if he would favor bringing impeachment indictments against the president over the border crisis in the event that Republicans win back power in the upcoming midterms, Mullin was supportive of the move if an impeachable offense could be proven.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>\u201c<\/b><span>If we can prove that President Biden has done something that\u2019s impeachable, absolutely,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019d love to get that guy out of office.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>However, he expressed fear over \u201cputting [Vice President] Kamala Harris into office.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd that is a huge fear of mine too because we don\u2019t need her to be president either,\u201d he said. \u201cBut if he\u2019s done something impeachable, we need to get him out of office and I think there are some things that need to be looked into.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mullin listed several investigations he deemed necessary, \u201cfrom [Biden\u2019s] handling of the border crisis, from his handling of Afghanistan, from what Hunter Biden did in Ukraine [and] the president\u2019s ability to cover up his own son\u2019s lawless activity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Expressing his belief there is most definitely \u201csomething criminal\u201d within Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop, Mullin maintained that such investigations would not be allowed to move forward underneath Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo when Republicans get control, we need to do our due diligence and look into this because if he has done something impeachable, remove him,\u201d he said. \u201cBut understand where it\u2019s almost like dancing with the devil because then you get Kamala Harris.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>President Trump\u2019s Impeachment<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Mullin also discussed a recent <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/mullin.house.gov\/uploadedfiles\/expunging_the_december_18_2019_impeachment_of_president_donald_john_trump.pdf\"><span>bill<\/span><\/a><span> he introduced to expunge former President Trump\u2019s first impeachment, which he deemed a \u201cmistake\u201d made by Democrats.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe all knew that the impeachment process that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and [House Intelligence Committee Chairman] Adam Schiff literally rammed through Congress was nothing but political,\u201d he said. \u201cSo the resolution would basically do away with that and right the wrong that took place.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI think that\u2019s the fairest thing to do,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Claiming the impeachment \u201cshould have never happened,\u201d Mullin explained it was \u201cexactly what our founding fathers were fearful of \u2014 that impeachment would be used for political reasons.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd for the first time in our history, it was actually proven true underneath the rule of Nancy Pelosi,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Mullin clarified that his bill was mainly intended to set the stages for a later point when Republicans could take action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cDo we really think that the Democrats are going to bring this up? No, probably not,\u201d he admitted. \u201cBut it sets the groundwork for Republicans to take a look into this come January 3 of 2023 when we take back the House.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Biden\u2019s Foreign Policy<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>When asked how he would \u201cgrade\u201d President Biden\u2019s performance so far vis-a-vis Ukraine, Mullin\u2019s response was succinct.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cJust like he\u2019s leading the country right now \u2013 an F,\u201d he insisted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>On the Iran nuclear deal, Mullin claimed it is not welcome by any Middle East countries.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cNone of the neighbors want it. Israel doesn\u2019t want it. Saudi Arabia doesn\u2019t want it. Iraq doesn\u2019t want it,\u201d he said. \u201cNo one in that region wants this to take place.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Despite that, Mullin said, President Biden is \u201cdoubling down on what the Obama administration was trying to do with Secretary Kerry at the time: trying to force a nuclear deal,\u201d something he claimed only Russia benefits from.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cRussia will benefit financially at a time when we\u2019re trying to sanction them and keep them from being able to fund this illegal war against Ukraine,\u201d he said. \u201cYet we\u2019re still forcing this to the tune of literally billions of dollars that Russia is going to benefit from because they\u2019re going to be handling the nuclear waste supposedly of Iran.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>However, Mullin cast doubt on any Russian credibility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cRussia has never been trustworthy, but especially now,\u201d\u00a0he said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Regarding Iran, he wondered how a deal could be worked out with \u201ca country that literally chants \u2018death to America.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThat [deal] is supposed to be beneficial for us? To allow them to eventually become a nuclear power?
