However, reports indicate that CNN+ is already collapsing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to Fox Business correspondent Charles Gasparino, CNN+ employees are \u201cbracing for layoffs possibly as soon as May amid projections of lackluster sales\u201d for the new streaming channel. Employees <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CGasparino\/status\/1509217698491904006\"><span>say<\/span><\/a><span> that the new streaming channel \u201ccould be merged\u201d into Discovery+ unless subscriptions accelerate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>When asked about Gasparino\u2019s assertions by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10670675\/CNN-refuses-deny-report-job-cuts-CNN-low-subscriptions.html\"><span>The Daily Mail<\/span><\/a><span>, CNN officials did not deny that layoffs are possible. \u201cWe are very happy with the launch of CNN+ and look forward to its long success ahead,\u201d a CNN spokesperson told the outlet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Beyond its tanking viewership, CNN has been <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-cnns-jeff-zucker-resigns-due-to-undisclosed-consensual-relationship-with-colleague\"><span>plagued<\/span><\/a><span> by multiple scandals. In February, CNN president Jeff Zucker resigned from his post after an internal investigation into disgraced former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo revealed that Zucker was having an ongoing consensual relationship with one of his colleagues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Indeed, recently unearthed emails <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/chris-cuomo-helped-gov-andrew-cuomo-spin-nursing-home-deaths\"><span>reveal<\/span><\/a><span> that Cuomo assisted his older brother, former Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY), with public relations efforts to deny charges that the state deliberately covered up the number of senior citizens who died in nursing homes with COVID-19. The legacy media lionized Andrew Cuomo at the outset of COVID-19, often carrying his daily live briefings and lauding him as a stable, competent, successful alternative to President Donald Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>CNN has also earned a reputation for failing to report objective news. Podcast host Joe Rogan recently <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fing-change-your-model-joe-rogan-calls-on-cnn-to-report-objective-news\"><span>argued<\/span><\/a><span> that CNN needs to change its model.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cMy thoughts for CNN, my advice to them \u2014 I don\u2019t hate CNN. I used to go to them every day for the news before they started f***ing hating on me,\u201d Rogan said. \u201cIf you want to do better, just f****ing change your model. Change the way you do it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Rogan specifically condemned CNN hosts Brian Stelter and Don Lemon. \u201cStop this editorial perspective with guys like Brian Stelter and Don Lemon that nobody listens to.
