One such resource is from the Office of Population Affairs (OPA) which is part of HHS, entitled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/opa.hhs.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-03\/gender-affirming-care-young-people-march-2022.pdf\">Gender-Affirming Care and Young People<\/a>\u201d and contains a chart with \u201caffirming care\u201d options, a far-left euphemism intended to make the mutilation of children sound like a compassionate course of action.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The most heinous option involves transforming children\u2019s bodies via irreversible surgeries with the goal of \u201caligning their outward physical traits with their gender identity.\u201d The procedures listed include \u201ctop surgery \u2014 to create male t<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">ypical chest shape or enhance breasts,\u201d and \u201cbottom surgery \u2014 surgery on the genitals or reproductive organs.\u201d The OPA also listed \u201cfacial feminizations,\u201d and \u201cother procedures.\u201d The document does not include more grotesque aspects of these surgeries where young girls\u2019 breasts are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2019\/11\/26\/transgender-over-26000-women-girls-seek-funds-for-breast-removal-at-gofundme\/\">cut off<\/a>, genitalia are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/29\/washpost-the-transgender-industry-is-recklessly-endangering-kids\/\">chemically removed<\/a>, and fake penises <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/06\/nyt-oped-transgender-doctors-treatment-minors\/\">built<\/a> from the tissue of another body part.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Thank you Dr Belek for giving me the chest I\u2019ve always wanted. Share and watch. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gY5yWw47KH\">pic.twitter.com\/gY5yWw47KH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 TheGenderMapper (@GenderMapper) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GenderMapper\/status\/1404406961450459137?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 14, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The OPA ends by insisting that familial and peer support is \u201ccrucial\u201d for ensuring positive outcomes, and that a lack of parental support could result in negative outcomes like \u201csuicide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLack of such support can result in rejection, depression and suicide, homelessness, and other negative outcomes,\u201d the OPA concludes.<\/p>\n<p>Another subset of the HHS,\u00a0the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration\u2019s National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nctsn.org\/sites\/default\/files\/resources\/fact-sheet\/gender-affirming-care-is-trauma-informed-care.pdf\">released a document<\/a> similar to the OPA entitled\u00a0\u201cGender-Affirming Care Is Trauma-Informed Care.\u201d The NCTSN also recommends \u201cgender-affirming care,\u201d including supposed \u201cevidence-based interventions such as puberty blockers and gender-affirming hormones.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Contrary to the Biden administration\u2019s claims, scientists have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/09\/15\/study-corrected-transgender-hormones-and-surgeries-offer-no-mental-health-benefits\/\">found<\/a> that neither \u201cgender-affirming hormone treatment\u201d nor \u201cgender-affirming surgery\u201d decreased the need for mental health services of those claiming to be transgender. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/30\/science-says-transgender-hormones-and-surgeries-do-not-prevent-suicides\/\">Other studies<\/a> have found that\u00a0 puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones and sex transition surgeries do not prevent suicide or improve mental health in gender dysphoric young people.<\/p>\n<p>Both documents made sure to state that these treatments are \u201cneither child maltreatment nor malpractice\u201d \u2014 likely a response to Republican-sponsored legislation and directives labeling sex change surgeries for minors \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/07\/texas-court-blocks-abbotts-child-abuse-investigation-parents-transgender-children\/\">child abuse<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>President Joe Biden himself tweeted a video address on Thursday in support of the transgender activist agenda and adding to the far-left\u2019s assault on parental rights.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">To transgender Americans of all ages, I want you to know that you are so brave. You belong. I have your back. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mD4F0m3rU1\">pic.twitter.com\/mD4F0m3rU1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 President Biden (@POTUS) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS\/status\/1509532210495254528?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 31, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cTo parents of transgender children, affirming your child\u2019s identity is one of the most powerful things you can do to keep them safe and healthy,\u201d Biden claimed with no evidence.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden also said his administration will combat a GOP-led campaign to keep men who identify as women from competing in women\u2019s sports, calling those laws \u201csimply wrong\u201d and \u201chateful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[My administration is]\u00a0\u201cstanding up for transgender equality in the classroom, on the playing field, at work, in our military, in our housing and health care systems \u2013 everywhere,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2022\/03\/31\/fact-sheet-biden-harris-administration-advances-equality-and-visibility-for-transgender-americans\/\">pushed<\/a> several other pro-transgender policies forward on Thursday, after the HHS became the first federal agency to fly a baby blue and baby pink \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/31\/hhs-becomes-first-federal-agency-to-fly-trans-pride-flag\/\">trans pride flag<\/a>\u201d on its grounds \u2014 right below the American flag.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Discrimination against transgender people has no place in this country. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HHSGov?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@HHSGov<\/a> will continue to do everything in our power to protect the health care of transgender people, including their access to gender-affirming care. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0Az3rQq7EK\">https:\/\/t.co\/0Az3rQq7EK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Secretary Xavier Becerra (@SecBecerra) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SecBecerra\/status\/1509512013080371208?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 31, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/31\/tsa-bows-radical-transgender-movement-announces-plans-gender-neutral-screening-advance-civil-rights\/\">announced plans<\/a> to kneel to the left\u2019s radical transgender movement, adopting \u201cgender neutral\u201d screening at its checkpoints to better suit transgender, nonbinary, and \u201cgender-nonconforming\u201d passengers. Additionally, beginning April 11, U.S. passport applications will include an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/31\/joe-biden-applauds-transgenderism-with-launch-of-new-x-gender-marker\/\">\u201cX\u201d gender marker<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The White House is also working to expand the availability of the \u201cX\u201d gender marker to airlines and federal travel programs, and will make it easier for anyone to change their gender information in Social Security Administration records.
